Question 2

How tall are these sticks?  I'm working on a build that has limited space where the RAM will sit, and have hear that with the case i'm using some sticks with taller heatsinks (which these appear to have) will not fit.

Also this is just a suggestion too... I would suggest a good software cleaning if your PC is currently running slow. Adding more RAM just might be a solution to a problem that will eventually come back on you. I would suggest heading over to piroforms site and getting a free program called CCleaner. Do a REG clean and clear temp files and see if your system runs better. Also check with CCleaner and see whats running at start up... use it to  disable stuff that eats into boot up time and is using RAM needleslly. That way when you do upgrade you will have a more comfortable RAM usage level.

Yes, it is compatible. If you check the ASUS motherboard specs on their website (easy to search this), you will see that this MB handles 4 Slots of DDR3 1333 memory.

10600 is close enough to work. 7-7-7-21 is likely to be faster than your system needs; that is, data appear sooner than the system tries to retrieve the data*. Besides, the Intel-based system may well read the RAM's settings and set the system accordingly.

* Generally speaking, if the system expects 8-8-8-24 RAM, you should be about to install 7-7-7-21 RAM and have it work just fine. The numbers refer to how many clock cycles the RAM needs to perform certain operations. As long as the system waits at least that long, it should work well.
