4 out of 5 eggsThey do the job.

Pros: -Flashy (Red)
-They Work
-They have some play in the timings and overclocking

Cons: -I took an Egg for price, I feel that in the current age, decent DDR3 should be around $50-60 for 8GB. No more than $110 for 16 with DDR4 about to be on the rise. Not really the fault of the company just with memory in general.

Other Thoughts: It's kind of hard to rate memory, specifically, I mean.. If it's doing its job then it's good memory.. You know? Buying memory is pretty much a job for the user to do some research on the voltage, the speed they need, and a little into the company and what chips/components they use. The occasional stick does come dead, but Newegg will usually make it right or the company that sells them will.

5 out of 5 eggsPut it through the ringer...

Pros: I've had this memory running in an overclocked i7 2600k build for 4 years now. It still hums along like a charm. I'm doing the midlife pc upgrade and will be dropping in an i7-3770k and 2x GTX 970s...I'm adding another 8gig of this same RAM.

Sturdy stuff.

Cons: None come to mind, it simply works and works well.

Other Thoughts: The blue is snazzy.

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid

Pros: Reliable RAM without any issues. I purchased one set in the summer of 2013 and recently purchased another set to upgrade to 16GB. Both the original and the new sets work flawlessly.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: RAM was recognized immediately by the system both times. Just make sure you enable XMP profiles in your BIOS for maximum performance.

Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear this memory kit is working well in your system and you were able to overclock them very nicely. The low voltage and timings of these modules makes them perfect for overclocking. With 16GB installed, your computer will be capable of anything you put them to. 5 out of 5 eggsWorked right off

Pros: On a GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD7 TH these were detected properly and ran fully in XMP setting.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This brand seemingly came out of nowhere some years back and has been solid on multiple boards once I took the dip. (AMD & Intel)

5 out of 5 eggsAttack! Ramming speed!

Pros: I've been using G.Skill ripjaw ram for years in all of my builds. Once again I wasn't disappointed. The only thing I can complain about is that my new motherboard is red/black and the blue ram doesnt match. FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS.

Cons: Blue doesn't match with my red/black board. No eggs deducted :)
