5 out of 5 eggsRipped my jaws

Pros: This ram is absolutely jaw-dropping amazing. G.Skill Ripjaws X series is actually rated #1 -the very best ram- at overclocking. Extremely simple to do; just google your motherboard and ram to find a simple tutorial in your motherboard's start-up bios software. I currently have the 1866mhz with my GA-990FXA-UD3 (Gigabyte). Great combo; already recommended it to a friend.

Cons: No Cons. Everything worked PERFECTLY.

Other Thoughts: Make sure your motherboard is compatible with this ram.

5 out of 5 eggsBuying another pair

Pros: Used these in a build from 2013, over a year later they're still working great

Cons: Nothing from what I can tell

Other Thoughts: Best bet for reliable RAM is this set right here. You can't go wrong and the proof is in the ratings.

5 out of 5 eggshappy

Pros: I purchased the G.Skill Ripjaw X Series 8GB 2x4gb set back in July 2012 for my first build in over 5 years and now i am once again building a second build and have repurchased this.

cant go wrong with this memory it has life time warranty and because of this will likely be who will buy ddr4 from in the future

Cons: the price has gone up on RAM not really a fault with the product as all brands have gone up in price.

Other Thoughts: 2012 build:
Asrock 990fx extreme 3
AMD FX 6300
Radeon HD 7850 2gb gddr 5
this ram from the review
120gb SSD from corsair
1tb HDD from Seagate
NZXT 210

New build:
ASUS M5A99fx pro R2.0
AMD FX 6300
ASUS R7 260x
Kingston 240gb ssd
this RAM from the review
Rosewill module 600watt power supply
NZXT 210 case

5 out of 5 eggsBeastly

Pros: Well built, fast, just all in all great product for the money, Bought the Ripjaw X 1866's to replace my Ripjaw 1333's and Very Impressed

Cons: even though XMP profiles work on most amd boards and cpu's nowadays, its just doesnt have the amd AMP profiles, still works great so not really to much of a con

Other Thoughts: for anybody who claims they arent running at 1866, GO INTO BIOS and SELECT THE XMP PROFILE, it will then run at 1866, at CL 9, stop writing cons about the sticks if you dont know whats wrong, these Ripjaw X sticks are PHENOMENAL

5 out of 5 eggsResearch research research

Pros: This Ram is amazing bought it back in 2012 and still going strong no issues at all.

Cons: Price has gone way up since bought my RAM in 2012 now seems to be about 20 dollars more expensive.

Other Thoughts: To many people seem to be marking their Tech Knowledge as 5 on here and then saying the RAM only registers at 1600 instead of 1866. If this is you... You are not an Expert as it has been common knowledge among most PC builders that you must adjust settings in your BIOS to achieve speeds faster then 1600 for RAM.
