5 out of 5 eggsExcellent value

Pros: This is good, fast RAM at a good value.

I like the subtle, but cool appearance of the heatspreaders, which are low-profile enough to avoid clearance issues.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: These installed on an Asus Z97-A mobo, with an Intel i5-4690 CPU and Deepcool Frostwin V2 cooler without any clearance issues.

Just enable the XMP profile in the BIOS to benefit from their full speed rating.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Memory

Pros: Great memory for my Gaming PC, and may buy another set for an total of 16 GB of memory.

Cons: I originally I bought this kit for my HTPC but it had some stability problems when coming out of sleep mode when using as an DVR and slow when tuning to an channel (Ceton PCIe card). But I did change that out to an set of G.Skill Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL and all was fine after that. It may that my HTPC didn't like any more than 4 GB also and that's why I had problems. But then again this set was made for high performance gaming PCs in which it performs beautifully. This is not an reason to dock any eggs.

5 out of 5 eggsNot much to say

Pros: Gigabyte Gaming 7 mobo saw the ram and used the correct voltage and ram by default (this has been an issue in the past for me). X.M.P. works like a charm.

Cons: The thermal component is more aesthetics than function. On performance parts I feel that performance should always come first, so I think these could be running cooler.

Other Thoughts: I received the ran in production line order (cannot think of the correct term).

This means that there is a much better chance that the two pieces of ram work well as it means they came from the same main die.

If you get two stick that are not in serial number order then there is a good chance that one or more either before or after that were bad and didn't pass their QC process. This means that you rick the chance of your sticks also being bad down the road.

5 out of 5 eggsG. Skill For the Score!

Pros: Works like it should.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I decided on this mem. because of my history w/ G. Skill being very positive, and it was what I needed for a new general pupose/moderate gaming rig.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Memory Sticks

Pros: Great sticks for the price I got it at which was $30 2 years ago and 2 years later, they still run great! Used the 2 sticks in a sub $200 server build and worked right out of the box. The color is aesthetically pleasing. Would definitely recommend if you want long lasting memory sticks.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGreat so far

Pros: Haven't had me any problems so far, I love them, I may get 2 more in the future. As of right now, I am more than happy with the speed and timing. G.Skill really is the best brand when it comes to ram.

Cons: none thus far

Other Thoughts: Will try to give an update in a few months, if any problems arise.
