5 out of 5 eggsSolid memory

Pros: Solid stable performing memory. I always trust and rely on the GSkill brand. Overclocks without batting an eye.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks and speed

Pros: Does a great job and looks great. I didn't notice at first but the stickers on the memory sticks are Bowie knifes and AK47s...Cool! Very clean memory sticks with great speeds. What else could you ask for?

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: G.skill is the best

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory, great price

Pros: Actually works with my Asus P8Z77-V motherboard which seems especially fussy about memory.

I've used several models of this G.SKILL Sniper Series memory on the last 3-4 build I've done and I have not been disappointed.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I'd normally spring for the 2133 memory but seeing as this motherboard is so fussy and this 1866 was on sale / on the QVL it was a no brainer.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Perfectly to this Date

Pros: Ordered this back in 2012 for my first ever gaming PC. Original goal for the rig was to be able to play Battlefield 3 on ultra (Heh, 2012 goals...).

Worked like a charm. No issues, still have it in to this day (in addition to 8 more GB) and it runs perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggsDerp

Pros: Was actually on the phone w/ Corsair RMA while writing review. G.Skill RMA is great. Corsair's can actually be lacking, but not bad

Cons: ..

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: Bought two of these 8GB (2x4) almost 4 years ago for twin builds. Have been going strong (with exception of a bad stick). These sets have been moved to maybe 3-4 different builds and always perform very well.

Cons: Out of four of these 4GB sticks one died within the first year. I kinda expect this with RAM (or any new tech). 1 out of so many will be defective. But, Corsair's RMA service is very good and I paid nothing for replacement.

5 out of 5 eggsG. Skill Memory

Pros: High quality memory, great speed and timings without a huge unnecessary heat sink sticking off the top. I needed something to fit under my PH-TC14PE and this fit the bill.

Cons: None

3 out of 5 eggsFast, but defective for me

Pros: Easy steps to change from 1600 to 1886.
Reasonable price.

Cons: Had this memory for less than a month before my first PFN_LIST_CORRUPT B.S.O.D

Other Thoughts: I got this memory as part of a budget build i ordered. I used GSkill on my prior builds and have always had good luck. This seems to be a fluke.

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

We will be glad to help with this issue. Glad to hear you got the RAM at a good price. This is a high speed, high capacity memory kit so we are certain you will be very pleased with the results. Since the RAM specifications are above standard, make sure to manually configure settings in BIOS, or enable the XMP/DOCP performance profile. Some CPUs need additional tweaking to support a good memory kit like this, so please contact us directly if you continue to have issues. If you believe it may be a problem with RAM, test one module at a time to see if they perform the same. If a module performs differently than the other, feel free to send them in for RMA exchange. Visit the G.Skill website for complete RMA procedure.

Thank you
