5 out of 5 eggsSolid RAM

Pros: I was about to buy the CORSAIR 1600 MHz 8 GB sticks when I found a Newegg promo code email that gave me $5.00 off of these ($48.99). Having had no experience with G.SKILL products I was nervous but when I took them out of the package I could immediately see that these were well-crafted and sturdy sticks of RAM. I haven't had any problems thus far and they never seem to heat up when I'm gaming. For around $50.00 these are a great deal.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Yes, you do have to manually set the speed to 1866 but as long as you know how to navigate your BIOS, this shouldn't take more than 2 minutes.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking great

Pros: Not DOA. I have purchased 4 sticks of G.Skill 1333 and 6 sticks of 1866 memory and never had a problem with any of them. Of course I also purchased 3 sticks of Corsair 1600 and two sticks of DDR2 800 and they worked great as well. So many variables that can lead to failure in a product of this nature and yet they are consistently reliable. I wish software was this trouble free.

Cons: Can't think of any.

Other Thoughts: I have read numerous articles trying to figure out if jumping from 8 to 16GB of memory makes an improvement. The consensus seemed to be that it would make no difference unless you were performing memory intensive tasks like Photoshop or video editing. Awhile back when memory was much cheaper, I tried it just out of curiosity. I could detect any improvement and used the 2nd set to build another PC. This time around it seems like it has made the PC more responsive while loading webpages even though the WEI memory score only improved by 0.1 points. Could just be my imagination but mostly I'm satisfied that they function.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Easy to install
-Easy to change to 1866 (through ASUS UEFI)
-Looks awesome
-Fast

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: There's enough clearance on this RAM to fit a Noctua NH-D14 CPU coolers in my Phanteks Enthoo Pro case.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful

Pros: First memory I've ever had that accurately came up with all correct timings and voltages in the BIOS, without having to manually enter anything.

Very reasonable price, and the only CAS latency 8 1866 memory I was able to find on newegg.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: While I have had this memory only about a week, this is the first pair of memory sticks I've had that has come up with all the correct settings in the BIOS without me having to manually adjust anything. I was very shocked when I booted my system and everything was set correctly (I already had performance mode enabled). With all of my previous Patriot memory, I always had to go in and redo all the settings if I ever had to clear my CMOS.

I've quickly grown to respect GSKILL in the last couple of years, and this is my first memory to buy from them, and it won't be my last. I have yet to really stress test this memory but I don't think I'll have any problems at all.

I WILL be buying another set of these.... as soon as possible.

5 out of 5 eggsGood RAM

Pros: Popped right in my mobo and worked. No issues with spacing near my cpu/hetsink and fan (Asus Maximus 7 hero).

Cons: 8gb wasn't enough for my usage so I ordered a second set to get to 16gb. No fault to the ram, just needed more.

Other Thoughts: Newegg was quick and easy, as always.

5 out of 5 eggsA+

Pros: Faster than stock, Low timings, 1.5V, Superficially appealing, stable with high overclock

Cons: Perhaps the heat spreader may have compatibility issues, but that's more of a heatsink issue.

Other Thoughts: This ram is good. It serves it's purpose and was stable even at high overclocks.
