Great value for money

Did not come with free Lamborghini rides.

Other Thoughts: As far as I can tell, the only place to get this RAM in these specifications is through Newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Ram for the price

Pros: Haven't had really any issues with this ram. It was pretty much plug in play. Initially I had to drop it to 1333mhz specs due to my old phenom 980 cpu. However I did upgrade to the fx-8350 and it has been running smooth and stable at 1866mhz without a hitch. I also picked it up on sale for around 70 bucks so not bad at all.

Cons: Haven't had any issues so far.

5 out of 5 eggsBest performing Ram for the price

Pros: I bought it with 10% off since this thing never drops below 85$ I went for it. It never dropped in price since I started looking in September 2014

Low latency @ 8 with a speed of 1866 which was perfect for my new Asus m5a99fx pro MB.

It installed easily and had more than enough room to add another two sticks. Installed in slots 2 + 4 and i used the cooler master hyper evo 212 with the fans installed horizontally.

This has the lowest latency with the highest speed for my MB @ 8 gb and for the lowest price. Yes other product may have better specs but they will use a higher voltage ( 1.5v for this one) to reduce latency.

performance speed of ram can be calculated with (the first # ie. 8 for this one) /( rated speed divided by 2) and then by 1000 timing is in nanoseconds. ( CL * 1000)/( mhz /2). The speed for this one comes out to be around 8.57 nano seconds. To get anything faster you generally need to pay for more and it is only slightly faster.

Cons: Seems like newegg never drops the price on this guy so I have not had any reason to buy another 8 gb.

Other Thoughts: Ok for intel you need to enable the xmp profile

Unless you have AMD you have to set the profile in DOCP it was something like in your bios. If you don't it will run at a lower speed like mine.

5 out of 5 eggsGood stuff

Pros: Solid memory at a decent price. No problems hitting advertised speeds, and overclocked it a bit for a short while without any issues. Went back to stock speeds for the peace of mind.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Had a difficult time getting these to fit in the A slots on my Asus Sabertooth Z97, along with 212 Evo cooler. Had to mount the fan a little high. It only hits the fan, not heatsink. Only using two sticks so I just put them in the B slots. Something to consider if using that board/cooler. Would either need lower profile memory sticks, or mount the fan on the other side (I really wanted it to push, not pull).
