Pros: Cheap, stable & clockable.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Paired to an A10-5800k on an FM2 board, she clocked to full right from the start, all timings correct. I played with the timings and got her up a threshold of just over 2, but only for parameter testing. I leave mine at stock and the system flies. The box with this in it is a HTPC box, with a lot of heavy streaming over GB LAN and a lot of hardware encode/decode. This RAM works very well with the system and I love that I didn't have to manually clock the RAM.

Other Thoughts: Anyone who has issues with the sticks funning at anything other than 1866, it is probably your mobo not being able to support it or defaulting to a lower rating(1600, etc.) not the rams fault

Lower profile with a heat spreader
Love the color

Cons: Even with a lower profile heat spreader it was a very tight fit for these with my CoolerMaster EVO on a MSI Z77A-GD65

Pros: This memory is amazing, the pictures don't do it justice. Bought this because it was low latency, on sale, and it matched my color scheme. Once it arrived I was floored by the metallic heat sink, and blazing speed of this product. Ares definitely adds that "BLING-factor" to your machine.

Cons: Didn't buy a 16/32GB kit.

Pros: Low profile is very nice for coolers and tight builds, speed is great at stock, but still very clockable. no issues so far.

Cons: None, they match my blue fans.

Other Thoughts: I got these on sale here for under 45.00, will buy another set if they go that low again.

Pros: Dose the job at advertised speed. Low profile will work with most coolers.

Cons: First pair I got had one bad stick in the pack. Computer would boot with one stick and not the other.

Other Thoughts: Newegg came though with a quick painless RMA as always. 6eggs

Pros: Low profile, high capacity, easy to use.

Cons: CPU-Z reports as PC3 12800 with a max bandwidth of 800MHz, which is different than the as advertised PC3 14900.

Other Thoughts: Not sure if newegg sent the wrong RAM, or what happened, but this is not as advertised.

Otherwise, it's a great set of RAM modules.

The RAM is not mis-advertised. The max bandwidth you see in CPU-z is the maximum value any DDR3 motherboard can boot to with AUTO default settings. The current DDR3 standard is DDR3-1600 (800MHz) 11-11-11-30 1.50V, so this is the highest value any DDR3 performance memory can be recognized without enabling the XMP Profile or manual configuration. This is why for memory above standard, it is always stressed to manually input settings or enable the enhanced performance profile. Without doing so, the RAM can not operate at it's rated values. To determine whether you received what you paid for, look at the furthest right columns of the SPD timings table. The furthest right cloumn is the fastest, best profile that the memory is designed for, so you should see the rated values for the RAM which are DDR3-1866 9-10-9-28 1.50V. Once you configure the settings properly in BIOS/EFI, the computer will be very fast and stable. Pros: i have HAD this ram overclocked stable for about 2 weeks at 2133...but decided to push my thuban high, so set the speeds down to match the stock 1866mhz..and im actually getting BETTER results now with at 1866 then i was at 2133...this ram rocks..and thats 1.65v stock the entire time

Other Thoughts: i love the low profile, i wanted some ginormous ram like my hyper x t1 because my xigmatek 92mm cooler gets in the way of nothing..but in my new board..this ram looks great..and runs even better
