5 out of 5 eggsfirst day in and there is a noticable performance difference!

Pros: > sped up my machine!
> multitasking is great, playing games while building pc code and while using my synthesizer to make music for my game doesn't lag anymore! (my old ram would hang while only building code and lagged quite alot while gaming)

Cons: > not really a con but rather a cpu con, would be nice for this to be native 2133 so it would force my amd processors memory controller to run the ram in 2133 rather than 1866, would be nice to use it in 2133 mode, but if it ran in native 2133 it probably wouldn't post on a amd cpu.

Other Thoughts: > i recommend this kit (i bought 2, i am a very ram hungry user! i make 24GB go bye bye in one click)
> as stated above it doesn't run in 2133 mode because i have 4 sticks, it would likely run in 2133 if i had two sticks in, a buddy of mine has a mirrored pc build to mine but with only 16GB and his runs in 2133.

5 out of 5 eggsBest ram available

Pros: It runs at 2133, has tight timings, is 16gb of ram, and you should buy it.

Cons: No intermediate speeds, it's either 1333 or 2133, same was true of my 2400mhz ram which I couldn't get to clock high enough in my new build

Other Thoughts: in this build (msi 990fxa-gd65v2) the 2133mhz works fine with no issues, might get another 16gb and max out the board

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome performance at a great price.

Pros: -High quality RAM
-Overclockable
-2133MHZ
-Heatsinked
-Tight native timings
-Compatible w/th X79
-XMP profile
-Durable (Have had over a year to date no errors)

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: Would have preferred the heatsinks not to have that little ridge at the mid section as it comes close to the underside of my Noctua but they still fit just would have preferred flat heatsinks.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is the perfect Ram for any AM3+ platform. Runs very well in my ASUS M5A99FX Pro R 2.0 with FX-8350.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Memory

Pros: Great memory. Been using 16gb of this memory pretty intensively for over a year now with little to no issues. Great product and will most likely buy another 16gb.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Make sure that you check BIOS. Stock install showed up as 1333 but changed it to reflect 2133 and it worked as intended. Super fast memory and strong.

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear this memory has been working great in your system for over a year. This memory kit provides high frequency and high capacity for outstanding performance. As far as upgrading to 32GB, you may want to double check with us first since not all motherboards and CPUs can handle full slots of DDR3-2133. It can be very stressful for the CPU memory controller, but in many cases, we can provide tweaks to maximize capabilities. All DDR3 modules default to a standard value of DDR3-1333, so that is normal. This allows the RAM to be compatible in most DDR3 computers. For all further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly.

Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsF3-2133C9D-16GXH+ Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 + i7-2600K

Pros: They actually work as rated if not better. Running at rated speed 2133 memory frequency at CL9-11-10-28-2T with virtually no other setting changes. Had to set it up manually though. I am unable to see if they go faster than 2133 as my MB isn't capable.

Cons: It took some trial and error to work; some may not have the patience to deal with that. XMP1/2 didn't work for my particular hardware. Would only run at 1600 without below settings.

Other Thoughts: Settings that prevented XMP from working correctly:
tRFC = 235
CMD Rate = 2
XMP was no where near the correct amount

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price

Pros: Good RAM. Love G.skill.. 16 GB of 2133 for a decent price. Stable overclock with my board. Just click on the profile in the BIOS and it's good to go. Put this in a machine I built for back to school gaming purposes. Works good... Last long time...

Cons: Ummmm.... nah..

Other Thoughts: Buy this RAM.. It's pretty good.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat gaming RAM

Pros: Great for gaming or media streaming
Native speed of AMD FM2+ processors
Heat spreaders work
Not too flashy

Cons: None!!

Other Thoughts: Use XMP1 to enable optimal speed.

I heard it overclocks to 2400 well, but I did not try.

When paired with the AMD A10-7870K, system allocates 1/16th of RAM, so I ended up getting 1GB dedicated. Remember, APU uses your DDR3, so if you have a graphics card with GDDR5 or HBM memory, disable the APU graphics and use your separate card instead!

Tested with Ubuntu 14.04 and Catalyst 15.7 drivers, enjoyed smooth default (low/med) settings gaming on Borderlands Pre-Sequel, very capable in Minecraft!

5 out of 5 eggsG.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133

Pros: good RAM. almost all RAM are the same i think. i bought this a bit more than i wanted to pay but i wanted to see if 2133 made a difference...annnnd nope. still run stuff the same. But i aint even mad.

Cons: it shows up as 1333 on my BIOS so i just had to manually set freq to 2133 or what ever i wanted it to be. But it was because my motherboard isn't super compatible with 1.6v of ram but i haven't noticed anything bad
