Pros: Works perfect out of box, just set XMP in bios.

Then the fun part comes when overclocking, for those of us without unlocked multipliers we have to adjust RAM speeds in concern to fsb speed. I had this gskill @760 MHz and tweaked for tight timings and I must say this is the best overcloking ram I have ever seen, I got it @ 7-8-8-15 1T with 1.8v, rock solid stable and an overnight pass of memtest 4.20 no errors.

Cons: None that I could think of, except maybe the heatspreaders didn't seem to be too stuck, I had to press down hard on them to get them in place right.

Other Thoughts: Best RAM I ever owned, was always skeptical of Gskill and preffered the old school big K1ng or Mushky brands, that has changed now, Gskill is more economical and better for tweaking :)

Pros: Excellent product, low-key look.

Cons: none really, 4 sticks worked.

Other Thoughts: i had a memory controller failure on my 2nd boot of the machine. i needed to reseat the ram and its been working fine since. could have been an issue with installation? hans't been an issue since.

Pros: Low Profile if you have a large CPU cooler. Fits fine under my Phanteks PH-TC13 which is why I purchased it.
None were DOA.

Cons: None

Pros: Dropped right in, BIOS/Auto recognized
RAM DISK!

Cons: Flimsy heatspreaders,1 partly loose in pkg

Other Thoughts: FX-8120,Asus Sabertooth 990 rev 1

Pros: -32GB RAM
-Fast
-Using in a gaming machine decent
-Low profile to a certain point
-All Black (My Opinion is nice)

Cons: -None to speak of

-None were Dead On Arrival

-Overclocking this memory is really weird and tricky to me?

Other Thoughts: Paired with a 3770K its fast.

Overclocking ram i don't see a point unless you are benching them for a 2133Mhz and higher.

XMP'd to 1600Mhz

Pros: Love it and work fine in the ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard. no probelm.

Cons: nothing yet

Pros: 32 Gigs of DDR3 1600.

Cons: No issues so far

Other Thoughts: Got it black friday on sale for 90 bucks ... can't go wrong with 32 Gigs for under a 100 bucks.

Pros: - 32GB of RAM gives you plenty of room for a RAM drive
- Should be very fast in a quad channel 2011 socket board
- Plenty fast in a 1155 socket board

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Until DDR3 or 4 can reach speeds of 3200Mhz 1600Mhz is your best bet for now. I just don't see the point of the faster specks unless your bench marking you'll never notice the nano seconds in difference for real world applications.

Pros: works as advertised

Cons: default clock speed is way under 1600

Other Thoughts: 4 ch memory operating on a dual ch M board. speed was in the low 600's. easy to fix in bios

Not all platforms/CPUs can natively boot to DDR3-1600, so that may be the reason your system defaulted to lower values to allow the system to POST. As you already know, this can be easily fixed in BIOS. With any high performance RAM, it is always necessary to manually input settings or enable the Enhanced Performance Profile. Once you input the proper settings your system needs to be perfectly stable, then everything should work like a charm. Should you need any assistance with this, please feel free to contact us directly. BIOS configuration can be tricky especially for some CPUs that do not natively support the high frequency; but once you have the memory correctly set up, the computer should be very fast and stable. This is a high speed, high capacity memory kit so your computer will be capable of anything you put it to.
