5 out of 5 eggsIncredible RAM

Pros: Good looking, low voltage, stable, boots at advertised speed with no needed changes. Quad channel is a very nice upgrade! Overclocks moderately very easily.

Cons: miracle grow didn't increase it to 64GB

Other Thoughts: This is just all round good RAM. if I could use it I'd buy another set. Maybe I'll make more virtual machines just so I can justify buying more and maxing out my board lol. Paired with a 3930K it is truly impressive.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat amount of ram

Pros: Mixes well with my other ram! I have all sticks of this running in slots 3-6. 1-2 are 2 GB sticks of G.skills 2000MHz memory making 36 GB total in my system all sticks run at 1950mhz 7-9-8-19 @ 1.68v

great buy for me spending less then $110 for this on black Friday =)

Cons: High timings that's about it.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent speed with a little overhead

Pros: These run at their rated speed with SB-e. They do default to 1.25v VCCSA (ASUS bios setting for IMC), which is too high for my liking. But they run 1866 10-10-10-31 1T with 1.10v VCCSA without a hitch. I was able to run these stable at 2133 11-11-11-31 2T with a VCCSA at 1.15v and vdimm at 1.60v.

Cons: Nothing really to complain about. I wish more OCers tried this kit. But there is little to no information on this kit anywhere.

Other Thoughts: I bought these on sale for $109. The price has almost doubled. It looks like the price of ram is going to continue to climb for a while.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Memory!

Pros: 32GB of awesomeness! Works flawless in my mobo (Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0) at 1866. I run a few VMs on my machine at a time, so I needed the extra RAM.

G.Skill has been my memory of choice for several years now.

Cons: Have to manually set speed, voltage, and timings in UEFI (BIOS) to achieve 1866, but that's a given with performance RAM. I did my research and knew this before buying the memory. Not really a reason to deduct any eggs.

I almost got mad when my mobo manual listed it supporter faster RAM, but I discovered the fastest my CPU (FX-8350) supports is 1866 and I felt a lot better.

Other Thoughts: MANUALLY SET YOUR SPEED, TIMINGS, AND VOLTAGE TO ACHIEVE 1866. If you don't your mobo will only auto-detect it at 1333 (possibly 1600 if you're lucky). It's just the nature of the beast.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty fast - it works - $100 for 32gb

Pros: Plenty fast, SPD configuration on Asrock Extreme6 a85x was easy.

No issues. The price sold me. G.skill is good stuff, I'll never go back.

Cons: None. It's hard to screw up installing ram.
Make sure your board supports the speed.

If you have an 1-2 year or older AMD processor,
there ARE some issues with using 4 sticks of ram,
something about the memory bus undervolting = BSOD.
When in doubt try 2 sticks, 16gb is plenty also.

Other Thoughts: Not too tall, won't interfere with CPU cooler on most builds.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs at advertised speeds in an ASUS Sabertooth Z77 using XMP profiles after bios update to board. Not on sabertooth QVL, glad it worked

Cons: sniper "scope" on both ends is a little annoying, wish it were flat on top.

Other Thoughts: Sabertooth Z77 would not boot with xmp profile with this ram out of the box for me. Had to update BIOS. I had the same issue on another system with another sabertooth board with different ram which was also solved by a bios update so no need to panic if it doesn't work out of the box.

5 out of 5 eggsSpeedy

Pros: 32gb!!!! Doesnt get better then that. Fast. Keeps all my stuff running smooth.

Cons: AMD 8350 only recognizes it as 1333. Have to boost timings with AMD OverDrive or through bios.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Great RAM! The 1.5 rating allows it to work perfectly with Ivy Bridge processors, and 32 gb of 1866 ram for this price is a good value. G.Skill is a high quality product. It looks and feels solid.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggsNot great

Pros: Easy way to maximize motherboard memory configuration.

Cons: It seems a lot of negative reviews regarding this product are alike: even after manually adjusting the ram's settings, it still will not boot using the 1866 timings.

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

We can surely help you with memory configuration and make sure the memory is working to specification. Extreme performance RAM like G.Skill can be tricky to set up as it requires advanced technical experience. For that reason, the G.Skill technical support team is available to assist you with any issues you may have. The memory is guaranteed to operate at the rated specifications, so that is not the problem. Most CPUs are not fully capable of 32GB of DDR3-1866, which is why many people report inability to operate at DDR3-1866. Additional tweaks to the CPU memory controller is necessary to stabilize the memory. Contact the G.Skill support team with hardware details and they will teach you how to set up the memory perfectly like a professional.
