5 out of 5 eggsA+

Pros: My mb didn't see it as 1866 but still, good quality ram and a whole lot of it, well built and priced.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with my Gigabyte 990FX-UD3

Pros: Works exactly like they claim, OC's quite well. XMP profiles even import (though my MB is extremely fickle about them, I doubt this is G.Skills fault.)

I'm sitting at 2100, instead of 1866 as they advert. =)

Cons: None?

Other Thoughts: If you have a AM3+ please be aware you will NOT be able to run more than a pair of these on the same channel @ speeds greater than 1333. My 8350 just won't do it, but its fine with only one channel OC'ed. So if your looking at buying 4 of these, don't bother. Buy 2x 16gb's and OC those as much as you can if you need 32gb @ these speeds. Otherwise a pair of these rocks 16gb just fine.

4 out of 5 eggsRip Jaws 16gb

Pros: I have the 8GB 1866mhz version of the same Ram and I find that getting the 16 GB helped the overall performance of my system. Things like loading windows and web surfing are noticeably quicker than before. With 8GB games like GTA v took up 5 to 6 Gb now there is a lot of head room. Which makes for seedier loading times and a few extra fps in some games.

Cons: none so far

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear this 16GB RAM was a great boost for your gaming system. This is a high performance memory kit, so you can expect outstanding results. With 16GB, now you have twice the processing capability, so you should never experience any lag or delays. DDR3-1866 CL9 maximizes the CPU processing power and bandwidth so FPS is sustained at a constant high level. The system should not have any bottlenecking issues. For any further questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

Thank you

Pros: I've been using G.skill ram for over 5 years now and it's never failed me. The color and heatsink of this particular stick matches really well with the red that I purchased previously.

5 out of 5 eggsG Skill Ripjaw X 1866 DDR3 16Gb (2x8Gb)

Pros: Life time warranty. XMP. Price. G Skills RipJaw X!! I have one set of two already in my computer, just saw the price on these now. Which are $60.00 less than when I bought the same ones 6-7 months ago. This is my third build with G skills memory, I have yet to have any problems since I started using them. I still have all three computers (wife/ daughter received the hand me downs.) in the house.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Remember that the default setting for any DDR3 ram is 1333. You must go into your BIO's and set the ram to 1866. If you don't know how to do that, then check your how to that came with your computer or, go online and check with your Mobo manufacturer. Send them a request for directions for your Mobo. Tell them you need it in layman terms.
