5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory

Pros: Fast memory. Recognized by my motherboard without issue. Nice "pretty" blue heatspreaders.

Cons: See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: Depending on your motherboard, the memory might get recognized as 1333, not 1866.

If this happens, the memory is NOT defective! Just go into your motherboard's BIOS settings and change the multiplier to 18. Problem solved!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Works great in my Gigabyte motherboard. Simple. Just plug them onto it. Done.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Works fine with my system. My UEFI BIOS auto detect it. Price is a bit high. Wish it's price was lower. Overall, it's worth the upgrade for the stable and speed of my system.

5 out of 5 eggsFast fast fat

Pros: This is a great set of memory. 16GB might be overkill, but it's going to go a long way to keeping my new SteamBox ready for the next thing. Paired this with a z97 board and Core I5 4690. Just a note, you have to enable XMP in order to take advantage of the 1866Mhz speed, otherwise the board will most likely default to 1333 or 1600. I haven't bothered trying any higher, this is plenty for me.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsG.Skill simply the Best!

Pros: Great memory, stable as can be and a perfect fit for my Asus Rampage IV Black Edition motherboard.

G.Skill best customer support I have ever experienced.

Cons: I ordered 4 of these kits to completely fill my 8 memory slots with a whopping 64Gb total memory. However one of the sets showed up in the Bios as "Abnormal". Swapped those two memory boards with two of the others I had installed and sure enough the problem followed the two boards as I swapped them.

This is where the greatness of G.Skill takes over.

Other Thoughts: Packaging said lifetime warranty. So I said what the heck and dropped G.Skill an email explaining all of the situation to see what they would do if anything. Same day as they answered my email they sent me directions to RMA the abnormal boards back to G.skill. Which I did and it was like a week to 10 days at MOST from the time I mailed my bad memory that a new kit showed up in my mailbox and they work perfectly.

I've never experienced customer or technical support this superb. G.Skill should be commended for taking care of the customer first and worrying about their profit margin last. Too bad they don't make a wider variety of computer components. I'd buy everything I could from G.Skill to build my new computers with this awesome service!

The only down sides were I was without full memory capacitiy for 2 weeks and the cost I had to pay to ship the bad memory back to G.Skill.

Seems like to me if you can prove the memory is bad, (problem moved with the memory when you tried them in other slots) and they send you a new set right away because they test your bad memory and confirm it has problems ... seems like they should reimburse the customer for the shipping costs to send bad memory back..

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: Works great with XMP profile right out of the box.
Runs very cool.
Pretty low profile Heatspreaders.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've had this ram since 11/11/13 and just used the XMP and called it a day. On a whim decided to overclock it. Running at.

5 out of 5 eggsChampion RAM

Pros: Solid running RAM. Running stable @ 1800Mhz after running prime95 on my system for a few hours while at work. Still no issues so far. Also as always great shipping and arrival time at my door. 5 stars for Newegg and the product for doing exactly as advertised.

Cons: The only gripe that I have is that the Asus Sabertooth 990FX motherboard that I bought to match the RAM didn't run the RAM @ 1800Mhz, instead it initially wanted to run it @ 1600Mhz which was no big deal but it would have been nice if it did.

Other Thoughts: What more is there to say? Great product, great service.
