5 out of 5 eggsThis RAM is sick!

Pros: -Blazing fast
-Ultra stable
-Looks sweet!

Cons: -Nada

Other Thoughts: Very awesome RAM, great price. Ran it for over a year on an Asus MOBO. My pc stays on 24/7. Getting ready to buy another pair and up it to 16GB!

5 out of 5 eggsHelps with CPU overclock

Pros: These sticks work perfectly overclocked at 2400. 8GB running stable with the A10-7850K Kaveri at 4.7 GHz. Temps stay low with a decent chassis fan.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: These look really cool and work great with overclocking. Would recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for Gaming!

Pros: The usual great G.Skill quality at a great price.
Easy to overclock.
Does not cost much more than DDR3-2133 and well worth the extra few dollars.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Fantastic memory!

I was about to order DDR3-2133, but I lucked out and got an email mentioning this RAM was available at the Shell Shocker price of $77. I have been using G.Skill for years and have never had an issue. I am amazed that this memory works equally well on motherboards with both Intel and AMD chipsets.

My current gaming system:

CPU/APU: AMD A10-7850
Mobo: Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H mATX
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-2400
Video Card: MSI R7 260X 2GB OC Edition
Hard Drive: WD Blue 1T 7200RPM
Power Supply: EVGA 500 B 80 Bronze 500W
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit.
Case: Thermaltake V3 Black Edition

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Ram

Pros: - Same price as bottom of the barrel ram, a lot more performance with gskill reliability.
can tighten timings and voltage a lot by running at 2133mhz.

Cons: - will only hit 2400mhz using xmp profile if I lower my 3570k overclock (4.5ghz) down a few hundred mhz.
- 1.65v memory voltage on xmp profile not overly healthy for ivy bridge cpu.

Other Thoughts: Running at 2133mhz with 9-11-10-30-1T timings, @ 1.5v stable, with 3570k oc'd @ 4.5Ghz on Z77 platform. After a lot of testing and normal heavy gaming/rendering use, these settings have been 100% stable (knock on wood) for a couple weeks. with more voltage I'm sure timings could be tightened somewhere, but I prefer lower voltage if I can help it, and I have tons of voltage headroom if I feel like tinkering some more, or if I find an instability somewhere.

A good buy if prices remain the same, in my opinion.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat product when it works.

Pros: Great features for the price
Easy to understand BIOS

Cons: While I thought I had dodged a bullet getting this board to POST first try with no problems. A week of use later I sit with an unresponsive PC that won't even power on. Having checked it with some coworkers we couldn't get it to power on with other power supplies, unplugging every non essential piece of hardware etc. Based on other reviews it seems this is has been a trend lately for these boards. Luckily New Egg is a great company and is taking care of me on the issue.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer

Sounds like you are having an issue with a motherboard. Once you get a replacement, test one memory module at a time to see if the system works properly. Both sticks should work fine individually. If you continue to have a problem or have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly. The G.Skill support team will be glad to help get your system running at full speed.

Thank you

Quality and customer service are our top priorities.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: This RAM is very fast and I owned one pair for a long time and just bought my second pair and added it 10 mins ago. G skill RAM is the way to go just make sure you adjust the voltage on it manually to 1.65v

Cons: Stock speed was 1600 but I adjusted it by doing some trouble shooting and applying the xmp profile. (I know not a real problem)

Other Thoughts: Use CPU-Z for this and check the memory speed if it shows up around 1200(exactly half) you did it right.

5 out of 5 eggsEpic Memory

Pros: ultra fast with her 2400 mghz and the cadence is doable in the 10 instead of the 11,for a faster calculation speed.

Cons: i have no cons really, except that it is not free and not black and not 60 gig for free.No kidding appart it is just one of the best memory one the market right now,no issues.
