4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Runs stable at 2400. Just set XMP in bios. Good price.

Cons: Latency is a bit slow. I couldn't get it to clock any faster.

Other Thoughts: Decent memory for the price.

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear the memory was easy to set up and it is running smoothly at DDR3-2400. With a supported motherboard and CPU, enabling the eXtreme Memory Profile will allow the motherboard to recognize the performance values of the RAM to run at full speed. The latency is actually low for DDR3-2400, considering the standard is DDR3-1600 CL11. Though there are DDR3-2400 CL9/10 kits like the G.Skill Trident X series at a premium price. For any overclocking or lowering of the timings, you will definitely need to boost the DRAM Voltage. Keep in mind not all CPUs are capable, so there may be a processor limitation as well. For any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly.

Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: The RAM works as advertised and is very fast. I had to enable XMP to overclock the RAM because it was clocked down to 1333.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: You might want to make sure your motherboard supports XMP before you order the RAM

5 out of 5 eggsWorking well

Pros: Works, XMP is great, runs cool enough, runs at rated speed.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Got this to upgrade my ITX build, found out that my old H77 only supported DDR3 1600 max, replaced with Z77 and now running at 2400 very well.

5 out of 5 eggsIt Works!

Pros: Recognized with no issues on an MSI Z97 Gaming 5 LGA 1150 Motherboard.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Enabled XMP and set correct clock speed in BIOS, it's running like a champ.

I went with the 2400 over the 1600 because why the heck not for close to the same price. No real practical difference for what I'm doing, but.... Dem. Benchmarks.
