5 out of 5 eggsFAST RAM

Pros: Installed and working great! CPU-Z confirms.

Cons: No problems.

Other Thoughts: I bought a lot faster RAM than necessary. Old was 12,000
If I get a new computer, I'll transfer the RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product! Easy to Setup and Use!

Pros: -Work right out of the box.

-Runs at the stated 2400mhz.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Compatibility:

A side note, make sure that your bios version is updated to P2.00...
I did try setting the DRAM manually, and it did not respond well. For a safe bet, stick to the XMP file. Should work fine.

5 out of 5 eggsNICE SPEED COUPLED WITH i7-4790K 4.4GHz

Pros: G. Skill Memory just works and it works with LGA 1156, 1366 and with every new system that I have tested it with at a price that destroys the competitors. Corsair is the Apple of Memory as g.skill is the Microsoft of the SDRAM community. They do not request that you ship them an appendage for their products to pay for fancy marketing.

Cons: It's not free

3 out of 5 eggsFast and cheap

Pros: affordable, fit perfetcly with my aftermarket cooler ZALMAN CNPS990max 135mm.

Cons: can't manage to run at 2400 with my ASrock Z77 extreme4. Even with XMP i get a bluescreen so I resign on runing them at 2133. Will have to do more reading about that.

Manufacturer Response:

.
Hi Richard

Glad to hear you got the RAM at a good price and they are working well in your build. This is an extreme performance and capacity memory kit that is as powerful as it gets for DDR3 systems. Keep in mind a compatible motherboard and capable CPU is necessary to operate at DDR3-2400. Based on the information you provided, it may be a CPU limitation since DDR3-2133 works fine. Please contact the G.Skill support team with hardware specifications and they will be able to further assist you.

Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsFast Memory for ASUS z97-Deluxe

Pros: Worked right out of the box when set XMP via motherboard toggle switch on my ASUS z97 Deluxe. Default it clocked to DDR3 1333 spec @ 1.5v.

Previously I was running 16GB DDR3 1866, so I don't expect this to increase my gaming FPS.

My main motivation for upgrading to 32GB was the cheap price, and it will help when I'm running multiple vmware images. I can now dedicate more ram to each of them.

All in all, no compatibility issues here. Make sure you have a motherboard capable of higher DDR3 speeds.

I ran a quick 20min test of prime95 with no memory or system issues.

Cons: No real con, but initially I had a reboot loop pre POST. I solved it by switching to the XMP profile via a hardware switch on the z97 Deluxe motherboard I'm using.

I'd recommend you default your previous memory settings if you're upgrading an existing system with custom memory settings as it was in my case.

Other Thoughts: System specs

- Core i7 4790K @ 4.00GHz - 4.4Mhz turbo max @ 1.190v
- Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BL 140mm Cooler - 68c load temp
- ASUS z97-Deluxe BIOS v1304
- 32GB DDR3 2400 (1200MHz) 11-13-13-31 2T @ v1.65
- eVGA GTX 980 SC 4GB x2 (SLI)
- Samsung 830 SSD 512 GB, 1TB Samsung EVO
- 2x 2TB Baracuda XT, VelociRapter 600GB
- Creative SoundBlaster Z
- Thermaltake Toughpower W0133RU 1200 Watt PSU
- Cosmos S Case

The motherboard memory qualified vendors list doesn't list this part number directly, but instead lists F3-2400C11Q-32GXM(XMP) - which has the same exact timings and voltage at this 32GB kit part number - F3-2400C11Q-32GSR.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Ram!

Pros: - Very fast. I haven't run any particular benchmarks but I've noticed a higher than average FPS in BF4.
- Dropped it right into my ASUS P7X79 motherboard running BIOS version 4801. Auto-defaulted to 1333 MHz with only half of the RAM 16GB showing. Applied XMP and it auto-detected and set the RAM to 2400 MHz, Timing 11-13-13-31, Cas Latency 11, and Voltage 1.65V. All 32GB was detected as well. Booted into Windows 10 with no problem. No BSODs, etc.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: Was hesitant at first to buy this because of the possible incompatibility issues with certain processors, motherboards, etc. There are issues sometimes trying to get motherboards to detect the full 32GB. The issues become more common with higher MHz and higher density memory. Also this RAM set is not listed in my motherboard's QVL. Very pleased that my mobo works well with this RAM set!

System Specs:
- Intel i7 4930K processor overclocked to 4.5 GHz, Vcore 1.25
- ASUS P9X79 LGA 2011 Intel X79 Motherboard, BIOS version 4801
- G.SKILL Sniper Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) - Timing 11-13-13-31, Cas Latency 11, and Voltage 1.65V
- EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN X 12GB Superclocked
- Kingston Digital 120GB SSDNow V300
- Crucial BX100 250GB
- Sentey Power Supply 850w Modular 80 Plus Bronze

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value, With Caveat

Pros: Dropped right in with an Asus P8P67 Deluxe. Noticable (perhaps placebo) improvement over 16GB DDR3-1600MHz kit on a 2600k @ 4.4GHz.

Cons: Not a fault with the memory itself, but the P8P67 Deluxe will not boot if you tell it to run this memory at DDR3-2400. I'm not sure if this can be remedied by manually specifying the timings, but in any case it's not the memory's fault so no eggs deducted.

Other Thoughts: Watch your CPU cooler! My Hyper 212+ push-pull had to have its "pull" fan removed temporarily and then affixed slightly higher on the cooler to accomodate this memory.
