5 out of 5 eggsLooks great, works perfectly

Pros: Looks fantastic as one would expect from this company.
Obviously as ram, it installs quickly and easily and easily.
Great price for a great brand.
Colour matches computer case well. Will buy again.

Cons: It's RAM, it does it's job, there's nothing bad to say,

5 out of 5 eggsAffordable and easy way to increase performance

Pros: Installation is simple. Cost is minimal. The 1st thing I will be recommending to friends and family will now be to upgrade RAM. The G Skill Ripjaws look aggressive and they perform fantastic. If you want a snappy computer that looks great while performing then you will choose these RipJaWs.

Cons: Only cons are I didn't buy them sooner or go with 2 8GB right away. My personal shortcomings are the only downside to this purchase.

Other Thoughts: If this is your 1st time building a pc or if you are just looking to upgrade your RAM- do not hesitate. I learned how to install these by watching a 3 minute video and it could not have been easier. The red matches my build perfect and performance has been improved tremendously. If your computer doesn't feel snappy or you cant run games at higher settings you should really think about grabbing these bad boys.

5 out of 5 eggsGot this ram in a combo, good ram, but not for HTPC's!

Pros: Ram works well, timings are all correct in bios.

Cons: The heatsinks are rather tall.

Other Thoughts: the high heatsinks will mean interference with many HTPC cases. I had no choice in the matter as this was a part of a combo, but if you are in tight quarters, this is not the ram for you! I've said this in another newegg review, Newegg! If you offer a combo, please build it and see how it fits together!

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Sempron Budget build stick

Pros: Cheap, colorful heat spreader, no issues. Built my sister a simple web browser / Sempron 2650 / with Gigabyte AM1 board, 120G Kingston SSD, This memory stick & $22 Antec case. Less than $200 shipped. I strongly suggest going up to the Sempron 3800 series quad core for 12 bones. Memory tested as advertised. I am no where near utilizing all 4G, just browsing, no gaming.

Cons: Zilch

Other Thoughts: Guess I got a good stick, but it performs as advertised & flawless.

5 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: It just works

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I noticed sluggish performance while playing BF4. Thought it was my CPU (I3-4150) or perhaps my GPU (gtx 750) that was the problem but lo and behold, just bought an extra 4GB of ram to bring the total up to 8GB and now BF4 runs smoothly (save for the occasional lag spike). Stuttering during bioshock infinite also disappeared.

Any of you having similar problems might want to consider doing a similar upgrade. G.Skill is a solid company and I haven't had any of their products come DOA yet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for the buck

Pros: Great price, Great deal. Buy it!

No problems working on my Z97

Cons: A few small suggestions but none worth mentioning, as none of them hinder anything about how the actual product works, and it works great!

Other Thoughts: Packaging felt a little weak, If I saw this in the store I would think twice as it has no static protection baggie or actaul warranty info then besides 3 small lines stating what the policy is.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking and very stable

Pros: Packaging was great, no need to use a table saw or anything like that to get the Ram out of the package. My original Ram from another manufacturer was RMA, but I found out the culprit after replacing everything in my PC. It's hard to find out what it is, when it's a blue screen with different things on it. Anyways, stop rant, GSKILL seemed too expensive, but this was on sale, and it's great workmanship. It worked right out of the box, and my girlfriend's PC works flawlessly now. Thank You GSKILL.

Cons: They seem underpriced, even though they have better ram than Patriot. My Patriot was on sale for $50, this cost me $35, and no hiccups, perfect boot, even after leaving system on for 5 consecutive days, playing video games, movies, using office, powerpoint, buying stuff from mkt.com-hecpc, everything worked well, this should cost more, because I would be happy to pay more for it.

Other Thoughts: Picking out RAM can be tricky, but there are a lot of tools out there that can help you choose the correct one. Buying RAM is even trickier, but I would recommend using antistatic wrist bands for handling such sensitive pieces of equipment, and also, please check manufacturer compatibility, while, most RAM is compatible, given you use what's compatible with your motherboard., RAM can act a little different. Always try to find out if you can use ECC, NON ECC, as ECC has better stability with any system, but it's rarer, and more expensive. And also, I recommend that if your motherboard's manual says that you can use Ram XXXX(OC), (OC) meaning that the motherboard must be overclocked, you check with the vender or call your nerdiest friend, and see if they can help you choose the right RAM. Overclocking a motherboard is dangerous, specially, if it's being used for a long period of time, because, over clocking also OVERHEATS, so if your PC isn't prepared, watch out. Seek guidance before hand. Trust me.

5 out of 5 eggsDid the job at a great price point

Pros: Good value

Cons: None I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Used in a basic HTPC build around the Athlon 5350 on an MSI AM1I motherboard. Snapped right in and fired right up. I haven't owned it long enough to really put it through its paces, but for 40 bucks you can't beat it.
