5 out of 5 eggsStill alive and kicking after 6 years...

Pros: This drive just won't die. Have been using it since day 1 as a readyboost drive - always on, always connected to windows, just upgraded the pc, and any speed issues with this were resolved with a simple full reformat and it's back to new quality. Remarkable product from Corsair.

Cons: Too bad it's discontinued but then with USB3 drives out now, this is rather slow by comparisson.

3 out of 5 eggsSturdy, but

Pros: Very Fast Data Transfer
Rubberized case is form fitting and nice.
Lightweight and small
256-bit encryption

Cons: Despite being labeled as a rugged USB device I had problems with the head breaking off when accidentally bumped. If they could find a way to make the plug sturdier to accidental bumps this would be perfect.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Disregard earlier review. It got confused with something else and is non-applicable to this item.

Voyager GT is OK, no problems. Does what a flash drive should.

Cons: None really, just slower at writing than I was expecting.

Other Thoughts: With the hype about its speed, I was disappointed. It's faster my older flash drives, but slower than my 3-year old L*xar L*ghtning when writing small files.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing speed for those who need it.

Pros: I must admit, I was a sucker for the misleading "HI-SPEED USB 2.0" marketing you find on some other drives. I was fed up, did my research, and purchased the GT. I have not been happier since.

If you enjoy portable apps, then this is the drive for you. I am amazed at the speed of this drive. It's like having a 5400RPM HD without the moving parts. My portable apps load with great speed. I used to dread the use of certain apps on my old drive, but now I can't leave the house without the GT. It makes the transport of large files EASY! It sure beats the time it takes to burn and waste a CD.

The rubber enclosure may not look good to some, but the added protection gives me peace of mind. At this level of flash drive, why would you care what it looks like? Go pay $20 if you're going for looks rather than performance and reliability.

Cons: I wish the rubber cap had a tighter fit. It hasn't come off on its own yet, but I see myself losing it in the future. It also collects pocket lint but its really not a problem at all.

Other Thoughts: If you're the IT professional, advance computer, file sharing user, you can not go wrong with this drive.

Those who want to use this for documents, small file storage under 1MB each, look elsewhere. You can save youself cash.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: there are no pros to this junk!

Cons: 1st one was bought in July, it lasted 2 1/2 weeks and just quit! 2nd came DOA from Corsair! 3rd replacement also DOA, the 4th drive lasted 1 week, the 5th and last drive lasted 3 days. It's junk, how anyone can put there name on this junk is beyound me!!

Other Thoughts: After 5 drives none lasting more then a few weeks I asked for my money back! I have owned a 512Meg Kingston for 3 years no trouble at all!! I bought an AData about a month ago so far not 1 problem! It's faster and half the cost of the Corsair and has a lifetime warranty!

4 out of 5 eggsGlad I bought it when I did

Pros: FAST, FAST, FAST! Writes/reads 2GB of files in from 2-3 min. Faster if the files are large, rather than a large number of smaller discrete files, but fast any way you look at it. My old way of moving large files between non-networked machines was with a USB hard drive with its own power supply or with CD-RW or DVD-RW disks. This is faster, easier and more reliable than any of the alternatives.

Cons: The price has more than doubled since I bought mine in May--OUCH. I don't think I'll buy again until the price goes back down.

Capacity on mine suddenly and mysteriously dropped from 2GB to 1GB and then to 50MB. The problem was resolved by reformatting the drive and changing the file system from FAT to FAT32.

Other Thoughts: Flash drives are the fastest, easiest and safest way to move files between non-networked computers. You'll never go back.

5 out of 5 eggsWashable Flash Drive

Pros: What can I say that hasn't been said already? Well, my wife did laundry last weekend. She's usually good about checking pockets (money=finders keepers) but missed my flash drive. Luckly it didn't make it do the dryer, but it did survive the washer. Not bad if you ask me!

Cons: I wish the lettering on the front weren't yellow. Just my preference.
