3 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Waterproof, durable, high capacity

Cons: Slow, broke after 4 years

Other Thoughts: The insides should be as great as the outside in my opinion. Probably won't buy high end corsair again.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Drive

Pros: I purchased this drive in 2008 and it's still going strong. I couldn't count the number of times it's gone through the washing machine.

I carry my thumb drive in my pocket and lost track of the number that got broken. Don't have to worry with this one.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Flash Drive!

Pros: Its a great flash drive. I carry it with me every day because you never know when you will need it. After all, it's water proof so no worries ;)

Cons: Kind of looks ugly after it gets dinged up but it still works as described so no problems.

Other Thoughts: I like how it turns heads. The sound it makes when you un-screw the top casing has this "metal tube" sound that make people say "what is that?"

It's always fun to tell them it's a flash drive lol

3 out of 5 eggsA little Gimmicky

Pros: The outer tube on this flash drive is extremely solid, and performs exactly as advertised - that is, borderline indestructible.

Cons: The rubber O-Rings wore off rather quickly, and the two metal caps on the end of the drive are held in place by some flimsy epoxy. I actually had to fix this drive myself a couple times because it kept falling apart.

When it comes to small files, write speeds are very slow. Read speeds however, and read/write with large files seem to be just fine.

Other Thoughts: Despite breaking into three pieces after a little over a year of use, the drive and all data stored inside it are still intact and operational. If the enclosure were welded together instead of glued, this would be a fantastic buy.

Pros: -Rugged
-Excellent data speeds

Cons: -Bulky
-Some laptops are too thin for the drive to be plugged in and sit on a table

Other Thoughts: Excellent flash drive overall.

5 out of 5 eggsworking as intended

Pros: Fast and efficient, as a flash drive should be.

Cons: Doesn't seem to shoot lasers at my enemies.

Other Thoughts: Digging up a keychain and attaching it to mine lets me drag my important software installers (spyware, firewall etc) anywhere, so my luddite friends are covered no matter what.

5 out of 5 eggsTwo year old tested.

Pros: Good price, good space, good quality. But that's exactly what you'd expect from Corsair. A dogtag and chain, along with a miniature extension coming with it was an interesting surprise. Bought it after I had a 16Gb get shattered by my son in the car, hasn't happened to this one yet.

Cons: I'd have preferred that the joining where jack meets body would have been a flush piece of metal to further avoid breakage, but it hasn't died yet.

3 out of 5 eggsGood drive. Poor design.

Pros: The Survivor series drives are pretty much indestructable in every day use.

Cons: The hole for a keyring or belt-loop clip is on the wrong end of the device.

Other Thoughts: Why was the design changed so that the keyring loop on the end that comes out when it is unscrewed?

The 32GB version of this drive I already own is the exact opposite of this bass-ackwards design. With the 32GB, I unscrew it from the case and plug it in, leaving the case attached to my belt-loop clip.

With this unbelievable design change, you have to unscrew it from the case, then unhook the drive from your key-chain / belt loop / etc. and then you can plug it in and use it.

Whomever made / approved that design change should be given a drug test.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat size and Protection

Pros: built like a tank. speeds are decent for me bout 30 mb/s both ways.

Cons: wish I would have just got this one instead of a pq drive I bought a couple years ago.

Other Thoughts: bought the 4 gig when it first came out , still going strong!

5 out of 5 eggs2 years later...still goin strong!!!

Pros: I purchased this drive about two years ago after my 4gb Verbatim drive snapped in half, and it has been amazing. I've yet to have an issue with this drive, it reads and writes fast, and i mean FAST! I have yet to have errors, and it has never "locked" into read-only mode as some reviewers have complained. That is likely just due to user error. Anyways, I've thought about getting a larger drive as I'm starting to run out of space, but with the 32gb version of this being $90, i don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.

Cons: Its bulky? I mean its hard to fit on some laptops, but it comes with a USB extender cable to solve that problem. And i guess i wouldn't recommend you carry it in your pocket because of its shape, but that's not a major issue.

Other Thoughts: $40 bucks for a 16gb drive that can be run over by a truck!? Come on now, do yourself a favor and buy it already!
