The 32GB Flash Voyager features Corsair's proprietary all-rubber housing, which offers previously unheard-of durability! In true geek fashion, several third-party reviewers have subjected the Flash Voyager GT to laundering, baking, freezing, boiling, substantial drops, even run it over with an SUV, and it continues to work! We obviously do not recommend that you subject your Voyager to such abuse, but it's good to know that it can easily withstand the rigors of life at the bottom of your briefcase, purse, or desk drawer!

The Flash Voyager USB 2.0 drive is stylish, compact, and reliable, so you know you can trust it with your MP3s, digital images, presentations and other critical data. The included TrueCrypt security software enables AES-256-bit encryption, and hidden and password protected partitions. When you need to know your data is safe, no matter what, the Flash Voyager offers you security and peace of mind!

2 out of 5 eggsBad Drive, Broke quickly

Pros: Not many, aside of the fact that it booted..

Cons: - Bought this back in '08 and it broke a few months after.
- very poor design
- cap gets lost easily
- usb port broke off
- cheaply constructed
- connection disrupts

Other Thoughts: this is a shame for corsair cause they are a good compnay but they messed up there voyager series flash drives badly. I have bought them together 16gb, 32gb and 64gb versions, they were all the same and all horrible..

1 out of 5 eggsExternal Strong - Internal WEAK

Pros: Great Idea - Poor implementation

Cons: Purchased March 09. Failed. -I have owned 8gb units also for longer.
No partial access, just dead. No physical damage. Well cared for. Irritating. The rubber armor is a great idea, but the implementation of it is half-baked. Connector is not properly reinforced and failed on another high-use 8g I had and replaced, this low-use 32gb is just dead. Going to try warranty and see what happens. BACK UP DATA KEPT ON THESE OR YOU *WILL* REGRET IT. Once they stop honoring warranty I will try something else.

5 out of 5 eggsNice addition to my collection

Pros: Very well constructed and more memory than I will ever need.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: This was a Christmas present which was purchased fro Newegg.

I am a Corsair nut and have a 1G, 2G, 4G, 8G, 16G and now 32G

Very happy with my choices.

5 out of 5 eggs2 Legit 2 Quit

Pros: Quick shipping, out of the box and into my ps3 it went. I use it to put movies/shows/hdmovies on and play it through my ps3. Drive works great, couldn't be happier :) Speedy transfers and got it at a sick price.

Cons: The cap isn't attached to the drive by a chain, it could be easily lost. The drive is kinda bulky (wide) so it might bump your other sloths if they are close. It could have a better color scheme and a lanyard that actually matched, but that's small on the scale lol.

Other Thoughts: Me likey long time?

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect!

Pros: No extra software, just a nice fat USB drive. No flipping, moving, sliding, clicking, popping in and out parts. Just a nice big fat USB drive! :)

Cons: None, exactly what I wanted!

Other Thoughts: Comes with a clip to hang around your neck and an extension cable. Also has a rubberized cap to keep the end clean.

4 out of 5 eggsRugged

Pros: Worked well until I ran it over with my SUV, and left it out in the elements over night. I'm not kidding - it fell out through a hole in my pocket and I found it the next day. Luckily I "coaxed" the data off of it and then bought a new one (this same one) to replace it.

Cons: No strap or place to put the cap as others have mentioned but that is the way it is built/designed. Light flashes on one side to indicate read/write.

Other Thoughts: I had to straighten the USB plug end to get it inserted in a computer to read but running it over was my fault. I have the 16G model too and it actually slipped out of it's rubber case a while ago - still works great though and I just slip it back in to protect it.

5 out of 5 eggsFast read speed, extremely rugged

Pros: Rugged construction: if you manage to break this you shouldn't own a computer to begin with.
Reliable data storage: have owned 2 for over a year with frequent use in blazing summer and freezing winter, not one hiccup.
Excellent environmental survival rating: perfect for use in a car's MP3 player or in an offsite backup storage.

FAT32 Speed: (composite averages)
29.5 MB/sec read
10.3 MB/sec write

Cons: Unbalanced read/write speed ratio. Lightning-fast reads, less impressive writes.

Bulky. In a typical laptop where the USB ports are close together, you can't fit anything else if you plug one of these in. For this reason I use a different brand at the office when I'm just copying small Word docs or other not-important files back and forth.

Other Thoughts: To be fair to Corsair, I completely trashed the 64GB Voyagers in my review for those because of their insanely slow NTFS write speeds. The 32GB model is faster in every sense of the word.

This is the perfect Flash drive for any situation involving less-than-perfect environmental conditions. I keep one permanently plugged into my car's MP3 player (port is hidden under the armrest), and the car loves it because of its amazing read speeds. People worry about reliability of electronics under harsh conditions--your car's onboard computer would fry long before this does.

I'm upgrading to GT models soon and looking forward to even faster speeds with the same build quality and flawless data reliability.

3 out of 5 eggsCorsair Flash Voyager 64GB

Pros: I had already owned the 32GB Coarsair Survivir, and loved it. I was hoping that Corsair would come out with a 64GB version of the Survivor when they did wit the Voyager. Their staff siad there were no plans at this time to do so. The Voyager worked fine. It was as fast to upload or download as the 32GB Survivor. The casing seemed strong and easy to handle. The rubber had a texture that made for a good grip and feel.

Cons: The cap holder is really a poor design. Why not come up with a cap that cannot be lost? Using the flimsy keychain didn't work. The chain comes apart easily. I've lost two caps (Corsair readily replaces them). The rubber body tends to hold pocket lint, or other dirt. The more annoying problem was discovering that cats like to chew on these like catnip. Do NOT leave it plugged into your PC unattended if you own a cat. Mine chewed off the end, so there was no longer a way to hold the cap when in use because the chain couln not be used. Worst - it stopped operating altogether after about 5 months. Since the casing was chewed up (not enough to damage the inside) I elected not to send it in. I figured they would assume it was due to abuse.

Other Thoughts: Corsair - PLEASE reconsider making a larger capacity Survivor. Great design! I see there is a 128GB Voyager out now, but sounds like it also uses the rubber casing rather than metal. I'll likely try it once the price drops a bit because I use the larger storage capacities for work, but I'd much rather have the durable Survivor design!
