In true geek fashion, several third-party reviewers have subjected the Flash Voyager GT to laundering, baking, freezing, boiling, substantial drops, even run it over with an SUV, and it continues to work! We obviously do not recommend that you subject your Voyager to such abuse, but it's good to know that it can easily withstand the rigors of life at the bottom of your briefcase, purse, or desk drawer!

Large and fast drive with non-tech nits
- Pros: Large capacity (30GB after fs overhead), high speed (12MB/s write, 21 MB/s read). Comes with usb extension cable and neckstrap.
- Cons: The USB interface cap is held on only by friction and there is nothing to do with the cap when you want to use the stick--you cannot slip it on the other end or hook it to the neckstrap. It does seem to be a lint magnet. It will interfere with other devices plugged into normally spaced USB interfaces, but extension cables takes care of that. Usage light does not indicate whether device it attached or not.
- Other Thoughts: Default filesystem is vfat--maximum filesize is 4GB.Comes with Windows Truecrypt software loaded on the flash drive which you can manually install on your computers (which I deleted since I use Linux). The USB usage light is not visible from both sides, but since it does not indicate whether the device is attached, it is hardly important.
Useful
- Pros: 32 GB (30.1 GiB formatted) capacity.
- Cons: I formatted NTFS like the first reviewer and I got a 4 MB/s average write speed when transferring 230 files totaling about 4 GB in size via XCOPY (it took about 15 minutes). I'm not wild about the rubber casing. I'd have preferred plastic.
- Other Thoughts: Like the other reviewer, I got about 20 MB/s read speed. I wanted the size, and the price was right, so I'm satisfied.

External Strong - Internal WEAK
- Pros: Great Idea - Poor implementation
- Cons: Purchased March 09. Failed. -I have owned 8gb units also for longer.
No partial access, just dead. No physical damage. Well cared for. Irritating. The rubber armor is a great idea, but the implementation of it is half-baked. Connector is not properly reinforced and failed on another high-use 8g I had and replaced, this low-use 32gb is just dead. Going to try warranty and see what happens. BACK UP DATA KEPT ON THESE OR YOU *WILL* REGRET IT. Once they stop honoring warranty I will try something else.

2 Legit 2 Quit
- Pros: Quick shipping, out of the box and into my ps3 it went. I use it to put movies/shows/hdmovies on and play it through my ps3. Drive works great, couldn't be happier :) Speedy transfers and got it at a sick price.
- Cons: The cap isn't attached to the drive by a chain, it could be easily lost. The drive is kinda bulky (wide) so it might bump your other sloths if they are close. It could have a better color scheme and a lanyard that actually matched, but that's small on the scale lol.
