Other Thoughts: Bought 3/4/10 dead 11/29/11 starting RMA thought these were supposed to be reliable for long periods of time.
1 year and 8 months of casual use isn't acceptable I have spindle disks that have lasted over 3 times as long and with no issues.

Pros: fast
Cons: limited space
Other Thoughts: With having custom built computers for the last 10 years of my life, I can say that this was one of the few 'upgrades' that I actually noticed right away. Everything is all of a sudden quick and snappy.
Your computer is only as fast as your slowest part. Alot of times nowadays, the bottle neck is the hard-drive.

Rating: 5/5P128 + Macbook Pro = Awesome!
Pros: Ummm....FAST! So far it has been nothing but amazing. But, as we all know that can change. No benchmarks cuz i have better things to do in my life. But its defiantly nice not having a annoying loud spinning drive anymore. Macbook Pro 2010 is already legit + p128 + more ram. Ya i dont think any pc can imagine the speed.
Cons: I gave up booz and eating out for a month in order to recover. (broke college student). For the price you'd expect a complementary bj, but dont get your hopes up.

Rating: 5/5Great SSD
Pros: It's lightning fast, hasn't crashed, installed and was up and running in no time.
Cons: It wasn't free, didn't grant me 3 wishes when I rubbed it, won't make me coffee
Other Thoughts: If you want a 128gb ssd, this is the one. I'm running a laptop with windows 7, and it's literally plug and play, so happy I got this.

Rating: 5/5Only Reliable SSD I've Ever Had
Pros: This SSD is so far very reliable because of the "Samsung" controller. Relaibility is the most important thing of any hard drive. Yes, it's so much faster than a traditional spinning hard drive. I have had no problems what-so-ever with this SSD. I love this SSD.
Cons: There are no "cons" so far.
Other Thoughts: I have this SSD inside a new laptop and it made it come alive. A few days after buying the laptop, I yanked the original hard drive out and installed this "Corsair" SSD in it and so far it has worked perfectly and is so much faster, i couldn't hardly believe it. What ever you do, do not buy any of the "Force" series Corsair SSDs' which have the "SandForce" controller. I had two of those and both failed to boot or be recognized in BIOS only within a short period of time after purchasing them. Each of those SSDs' experienced the same problem in two different PCs' both running Windows 7 64. I don't know exactly why they failed, but could be something to do with TRIM support or maybe the controller or chips overheated? I wish I could fix the problem because I have data I desperately would like to retrieve. Anyone have any ideas? Anyhow, you can't go wrong with the "Samsung" controller.

Rating: 5/5Very Nice
Pros: 6-8 second boot up in Windows 7 to log-on screen. Adobe CS5 starts up in about 2 seconds! and have a WACOM Intuos 4 PTK640 8.8" x 5.5" Active Area USB Professional Pen Tablet. Other programs like explorer, pop up instant! Much, much smoother than spinning drives, its something you must experience to believe.
Make sure to set your BIOS on your MB to AHCI for this drive to really sing. Additionally, you must manually activate Windows 7 TRIM feature by either going to Corsair's website or start the command prompt in Administrator mode and type in the following (With no quotes ofc) "fsutil behavior set DisableDeleteNotify 0" - and then enjoy.
Works well in a hot-swap environment. But take note, the TRIM feature will not work when these drives are used in RAID mode. You won't need RAID, this drive blows my 2nd gen Raptors striped in RAID 0 away, period.
Very light and cool running.
I Use this system for: Nikon D90 Black 12.3 MP 3.0" 920K LCD Digital SLR Camera w/ AF-S DX NIKKOR
Cons: None so far, but I'm waiting to see the longevity of this product. Even the price is tolerable for what you're getting.
Other Thoughts: My system: All bought from Newegg ofc.

Rating: 5/5Night and day coming from 7200rpm
Pros: Lightning fast- requires no systems tools (like defrag) to streamline it. Easy install coming from my WD caviar black 7200rpm 1TB, just scrapped the 1TB and used it as a data store (obviously you won't be able to fit your media on this SSD, just OS and programs) OS (win764) booted in less than 10 min Programs installed (obviously dependent on source files, installed these from DVDs and unzips) very quickly. iTunes, Photoshop CS4, Firefox- near instant boots, maybe max 2 seconds. Amazing. For the video game players- WoW had noticeable differences in increased performance. Did not have to configure BIOS.
Cons: Did not come with an adapter for the small size. I used zip ties- because I roll oldschool. Worked fine, very secure. But honestly- do yourself a favor and buy a 2.5 adapter. Other than that no cons (as of YET, have only owned for a few days).
Other Thoughts: System specs: Win764 Ultimate GSKill 6GB DDR3 1600 Trip Channel EVGA E758 3-way SLI MOBO LGA 1366 EVGA GeForce GTX 260 (need to upgrade, I know) i7-920 2.66 Ghz (clocked up to 3, yes I'm safe) Corsair 750 Watt SLI Ready i7 Certified PSU
By the way- CM HAF 922 Case is amazing. amazing. amazing.

Pros: Beyond fast: Linux on jet fuel.
Cons: Price per GB
Other Thoughts: Linux 2.6.3 supports TRIM command so only Apple is out in the cold torching SSDs, sniff, sniff, glad I ditched Apple's proprietary Mcdonald's Linux distro ;--)

Rating: 5/5Found the answer to my low WEI ( 5.9 )
Pros: Noticeable performance increase over my WD Caviar Black 640gig SATA 3 hard drive. Noticeable improvement with games, mainly greater detail.
Cons: If any, I would say: you don't get the rated speed right off the bat. You have to make sure you have the right settings and update drivers. As far as cost, I took advantage of the $100 off the original cost over a week ago. Paid $250.00 bucks. : )
Other Thoughts: I had trouble with write speeds. Seemed slow and/or unstable. Also I was getting a low Windows 7 Experience score. ( 5.9 ) Luckily I found a forum that helped. Someone suggested updating my X58 chipset driver from Intel website. So that's what I did. And " bingo " that was it. My WEI moved up to 6.7, I hoped for higher, but it was an improvement. And my write speeds seem to be stable. roughly 150mb/s . I do have some more tweeking to do. I'm still just getting to know my i7 and Asus P6X58D-E motherboard.
