Pros: Great RAM so far, 1600MHZ. Pretty fair pricing for what you get. They look pretty good to with those heat sinks!

Cons: Although the heat sinks look pretty aggressive and awesome, they are a little tall. I had problems fitting my Coolermaster V8 CPU cooler, although they cleared it was just barely. so if you have an aftermarket heat sink be weary of they fact they are fairly tall. i upgraded to a Coolermaster H60 water cooler and obviously have no problems with clearance now.

Other Thoughts: One stick arrived DOA and would not post out of my 16 GB set (4x4GB), although purchased through a different company. Thats why i have purchased one of these bad boys from newegg. Other than the DOA stick these RAM sticks have performed flawlessly.

Pros: This is a great module for anyone looking at fast, gamer/enthusiast oriented RAM without breaking the bank. On first boot in a test system it was recognized right away although not at the correct speed or timings (see other thoughts).

After a 4 hour stress test using benchmarking software there were no errors in either reading or writing cycles. I was able to achieve 300 MBs read speed and 230 MBs write speeds in the same software.

The attached heat spreader kept the RAM cool to the touch after testing and will add a nice custom look to any system.

Cons: The height of the heat spreader will be a con to some who use large, third party air coolers, or on a motherboard where the memory layout interferes with large GPU's.

I would advise doing some research before buying this RAM if you plan on using such an air cooler. Some aftermarket cooler manufacturers include a database of compatible memory with their products so its worth the effort.

Other Thoughts: The system I was testing did not recognize the correct speed or timing of this module, however I have come to the conclusion that this was a fault of the motherboard and not the RAM. After changing the values in the systems BIOS and a subsequent reboot, it read just fine.

Pros: - Combined 4 of these to get 16GB on my rig.
- have had these for over a year with no trouble
- Booted right up and was instantly recognized

Cons: Nothing that I believe to be a con.

Pros: Best Memory Ive ever had, gonna get another to have 8gb of this wonderful memory.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This was a great upgrade from ddr2 667 mhz

Pros: Its corsair.....its vengeance series.....need I say more?

Cons: its not 8gb. lolz. no cons at all.

Pros: I've used many of these over the years (over 100+ builds in experience) and have yet to see one go. The price is right, so for budget/reliability these work for me.

Cons: Not really a con because anyone who did their dilligence knows this isnt low-profile ram to begin. But yes, any aftermarket cooler (even hyper 212's, trust me) will bump into it so dont be the goof that didn't read and then gives this product 1star because your cooler doesnt fit.

Other Thoughts: I also like Patriot as a brand and havn't had bad experiences with them either... just go for whichever corsair/patriot is cheapest imo if your in the 'bargain RAM' market which I consider this to be.

Pros: Amazing ram i have 8 gigs installed and i plan on getting more.

Cons: a little big for smaller cases makes everything a little cramped but not unmanageable.

Pros: Perfect. Fast and they look totally b/a in my see through case.

Great for Final Cut pro on the side. I would recommend 16gigs for the pros but im a hobbyist film maker so 8gigs is perfect for what i need.

Cons: I usually get 60-70% physical memory usage when exporting HD. <<not a con

Pros: - Doesn't really heat up.
- Fast.

Cons: - Advertised as clocked at 1600mhz. Beware because you will have to overclock these DIMMs to 1600mhz as they run at 1333mhz by default. No big deal, really.
