4 out of 5 eggsAwesome for 2.5 years

Pros: Very stable, fast, etc.
Lasted over 2 years in my VM server.
Lifetime limited warranty was honored and RMA approved, even after 2.5 years.

Cons: Worked like a treat up to today, then my system started BSODing. Memtest found problems with 1 of the 2 sticks.

3 out of 5 eggsNerve wrecking nightmare.

Pros: -I go there pretty cheap
-good specs
-1.5 V as apposed to 1.6 or 1.65 on comparable memory sets

Cons: -Bought 2 sets for 2 different builds, each set had one bad stick that caused hangs, crashes and BSODs.
-Both sets failed memtest.
-Took a grand total of 5 (FIVE!) RMAs via Corsair to get 2 working sets.
-Flimsy heat sink

Other Thoughts: I originally purchased the 2 sets back on 4/20/2012. The memory crashed at random. One set started showing errors 3 hours into memtest so that was easy to spot. BUT the other set i initially bought only started showing errors after 10 hours!!! the first time i tested this set i ended the test after 4 hours with 0 errors. after getting more random BSOD i decided to test the thing for longer. i started it before i left for work, came back home and the moment i walked into my room the errors started popping up.

Between the two sets I had to do a grand total of 5 RMAs. SO that's 7 sets of memory I had to go through to get 2 working sets :/

Corsair sent me new sets of memory directly from the factory each time. But what really jumped out at me was that the memory modules that i got in the end that actually worked used different memory chips then the ones i initially got. I guess Corsair finally found the problem and started using better components.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair Quality

Pros: It is Corsair... solid... as always.

Cons: Nope.

Other Thoughts: I just had to set my timings in the BIOS, but that is normal. Either way, no problems.

5 out of 5 eggsFastest memory

Pros: Works great with my motherboard-Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P
runs at 1866.Scores a 7.9 out 7.9 on windows 7 benchmark.

Cons: which that I would it got 16Gb instead of 8Gb,windows 7 is a hungry beast using 20% of memory on idle.

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work as advertized

Pros: Ram worked and wasn't doa

Cons: Would not run higher than 1333 in dual channel and would not boot if you tried to use an xmp profile on my ASUS Sabertooth Z77 mobo.

This set is on the motherboard's QVL list and it's pretty unacceptable that it won't run as advertized.

Other Thoughts: 2 eggs because the ram does work, just not at the speeds it should.

2 out of 5 eggs1 of 4 were defective

Pros: Good price. Got these on sale for $50

Cons: Like a lot of the other reviews on here, one of the four sticks were defective. It became defective outside of the RMA period.

Other Thoughts: Wish I could buy just one stick. Maybe us Corsair owners can sell one another the odd stick

5 out of 5 eggsWhen waiting is no longer and issue

Pros: Sleek design, awesome heat spreaders, Corsair quality. Not sure what more you can want from your RAM. Added these to my system along with 2 other Corsair sticks and I can't recall the last time RAM was a factor in any of my PC operations.

Cons: These are just a bit on the pricey side, but if you're a brand loyalist when it comes to Corsair, you're not even looking at that :P
