4 out of 5 eggsFantastic 1600 memory

Pros: It went in my 2500k Build and now going into my i5 devils canyon build. Reliable as always.

Cons: During the time of 1155 there were a fair amount of motherboards with Dram slots close to the CPU. These large heat sinks were unneeded and could cause issues with a fair amount of aftermarket coolers. I would give these 5 stars but the gigantic useless heat sinks need to stop.

4 out of 5 eggsPerforms well

Pros: Performed well looking forward to upgrading to DDR 4 in the near future.

Cons: -Price
-After a year, one stick died on me.

Other Thoughts: When I purchased this memory in 2012 it was only $94... why has the price of this ram almost doubled?

5 out of 5 eggs3 years and going

Pros: I've owned this for 3 years now and I've not come across any issues at all, except for 1 (please see cons).

Cons: THE PRICE! WOW! In 2011 I paid 85$ with free shipping....DDR3 is ridiculous in price now!

Other Thoughts: I do recommend this RAM. It is fast and again, 3 years of constant use, no issues. Cheers!

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Pretty effective, only ever had 1 problem with them (see Cons). Pretty effective heatsink. I got it for pretty cheap 1-2 years back

Cons: Uhhh, I was BSODing for awhile and ran some memory programs (all the BSOD errors were related to my RAM)
None really found a problem, surprisingly. My CPU wasn't OCed, my GPU wasn't at the time either

I got really tried of it and began alternating RAM chips so only 3 were in at a time. Eventually, the 2nd or 3rd time, my computer was stable for 2 weeks straight. When I put the RAM chip back in I BSOD a few hours later. I tried it in a bunch of different slots and it increased or decreased in BSOD frequency and stopped after I took it out. I knew it couldn't be the slot because it only ever occurred when this one RAM chip was in my computer.
Now that I'm coding and multitasking more than I did when I first setup this computer I keep getting to 10-11 GB of RAM. I need that extra 4 GB.

Other Thoughts: Very 'fashionable' RAM chips. Heatsinks aren't bad at all either, very effective.. Just the one sort-of-faulty chip.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Happy

Pros: There built well, and have no problems with anything so far.

Cons: You have to overclock them to run at 1600mhz. At standard voltage which ias 1.5 volts, they run at 1333 mhz.

Other Thoughts: Disappointed with the fact I have to over clock to get what they advertised as standard speed.

1 out of 5 eggsMemory to avoid

Pros: none

Cons: Bought this memory for a Crosshair V MB and had serious blue screens. replaced MB and memory - same problem - until I pulled this memory....recently I put it into another very stable Asus MB - same problem ...

AVOID Corsair memory at all costs is my advise.

5 out of 5 eggs16g Works on my mobo!

Pros: Fast! Great Boost to my system! Easy Install!

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from Kingston 8g DDR3 to 16g of this Corsair RAM on my ASUS P7P55D-E LX motherboard (This is the Max amount of RAM for this mobo by the way) for helping boost my rendering speeds for making HD videos. Yes they are tall but I turned around my Thermaltake Spin Q to account for this.
