5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well in AM3 Motherboards

Pros: Runs fast and efficiently.
Only uses two memory slots.
Works with either AMD or Intel configurations at designated specifications.

Cons: Requires only slight configuration in high-end AMD motherboards. May require manual timing settings on lower-end AMD motherboards.

Other Thoughts: These modules work splendidly in an Asus Crosshair IV Formula. One simple automatic setting in the right place, and these modules run at their intended specifications effortlessly. However, it wasn't quite the setting I was expecting: Do not be afraid to explore the CPU auto-OC settings and find the right one; if you're tech-savvy enough, you'll know you've got the right one when the appropriate settings automatically go to the right values, as is how I recall finding it.

I suspect that there is a similarly relatively easy configuration to be done with the MSI or Gigabyte equivalents to make these modules work at intended settings automatically.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality product, quality service

Pros: Perfect. No troubles.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: One of my sticks died after about 2 years. Contacted Corsair and they replaced it without too many questions.

Good customer service.

4 out of 5 eggsEh, its ok

Pros: The ram works well. No DOA, clock speed and latency are great. It benchmarked well through all my test.

Cons: I docked an egg on this one. The cooler is black but the ram pcb is green. On first boot the ram was 1333 at 9-9-9-27 I had to manually adjust it to the advertised speeds. The cooler also was not equal to Gskill in the same price range. Although no of this hurt the performance of the ram. They are things I didn't like.

Other Thoughts: This was my first Corsair ram purchase, I own many of their other products. I was not as impressed with this as I was with my other Corsair products.

5 out of 5 eggsWicked

Pros: These sticks are great! They perform very well, look amazing (especially when placed in a Sabertooth Z87), and are easy to configure.

Cons: No cons at all.

Other Thoughts: I had to configure the them to run at 1600 in the bios. Very well priced.

5 out of 5 eggsGood & fast Service

Pros: The product itself is good , rock solid.
I would like to mention that new eggs service is very fast and reliable. I ordered couple of stuff at other retailers and they made a mess out of my orders.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: - The heat-spreader is kind of tall so make sure before ordering that it wont interrupt with your CPU cooler such as nf d14.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Overclocking

Pros: Nice overclocking stability.

Cons: Took 10 days for shipping but that's no reason to knock a egg off.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well With Pro Tools 11

Pros: I'm currently using only 8 GB of this RAM and it works well with Pro Tools 11 on Windows 7 computer. I mention Pro Tools because when I had 32 GB of Crucial Balistix (4 x 8 GB cards) the same computer it had very bizarre and freakish crashes when Pro Tools was running but all other programs worked fine. Not so with this Corsair Vengeance RAM, and only 8 GB of it makes Pro Tools sing very nicely. Highly recommended for Pro Tools users.

Cons: No cons, just make sure you don't have your BIOS set for AUTO ram set up. Go in and manually set the latency.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory

Pros: Great stable memory. Ran them for 2 years in a 4.5 overclocked 2500k on an ASrock P67 Extreme 4 board.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: A little expensive these days, considering you can snag some 2 8 gig sticks for not a whole lot more. But you get what you pay for here.
