1 out of 5 eggsWorked maybe a dozen times then stopped

Pros: Very fast

Cons: After using it maybe a dozen times it stopped working. The drive is recognized by XP, but data cannot be retrieved. The drive is no longer recognized at all by Windows 7. Checking on the Corsair site this seems to be a very common problem with many people requesting RMAs.

1 out of 5 eggs90 Day wonder

Pros: Easy on your hands.

Cons: Just up and stopped working. I now have two drive that show up as raw. Kind of glad I have my backups.

Manufacturer Response:

Backups are always a smart idea. We're sorry you had a problem with the drive and we'll be happy to replace it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked Like a Charm

Pros: I purchased this flash drive because I needed a USB device to update the firmware in my Kenwood CD player in my truck. It worked like it should. I also put some WMA (variable bit rate) files on it and tried playing those through the player and that worked and sounded fine also, but because it was a pain to navigate the menus on the player, I've decided to use my Sansa player using the AUX input, and that works better for selecting what I want to hear.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I went with Corsair because I've always used Corsair memory in my PC without problems, and the drive was available at a good price.

1 out of 5 eggsThe good and the terrible

Pros: Nice speed

25 MB/second read
16MB/second write

Backtrack 5 boots in 40 seconds from this USB.

Cons: No solid housing.
There is only flexible rubber surrounding the drive, therefore it can be bent and broken. The USB plug is especially vulnerable because it is only held to the PCB by solder and has no support. After repeated use the USB head will become weak and will break.

Not water proof because the PCB is not totally encase the rubber, if you squeeze it you can see the chip inside.

The cap is easy to loose but that is not a problem string cant fix.

Other Thoughts: Short life product, max life about 3 months before it breaks.

If there is a rebate don't except to receive it. They said mine was "Lost" in the mail.

5 out of 5 eggsLove It!

Pros: I am prejudiced but I love this drive. I collect Flash Voyagers. (I know)

It's fast and it's strong.

Comes with a lanyard which is worth a lot to me plus has thw short USB cord which can come in handy.

Cons: Can't be any.

Other Thoughts: Buy one.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid drive

Pros: Good flash drive. The GT lineup died out a few years ago for most of the drives, but it has now returned!
It is a bit faster than my Patriot Exporter XT 16GB, somewhat faster than my Mushkin Enhanced Mulholland 8GB, and much faster than my standard Corsair Flash Voyager 4GB.
It handles small files much better than all my other drives, avoids getting bogged down.

Cons: Same, wide form-factor as the standard Voyagers, with removable cap that you will lose at some point.

Other Thoughts: Mostly indestructible!..

5 out of 5 eggsTests above specs

Pros: As per CDM set to 1GB and 3 passes on a USB 2.0 port:Seq Read=29.62 MB/s, Seq Write=17.20 MB/s.

On a USB 3.0 port the speeds are Seq Read=31.84, Seq Write=19.12 MB/s

Has a nice rubberized case in case you decide you want to get it wet.

Cons: Cap is not attached so it is easy to lose, but I own 2 other Voyagers, so I knew that when buying this one.

Other Thoughts: They didn't have these drives for a long time, then suddenly started selling them again. I wish Corsair made a USB 3.0 version.
