5 out of 5 eggsAnother Excellent Corsair Product

Pros: Excellent and reliable. We install this memory in small form factor units in stressful environments and they take the abuse.

5 out of 5 eggsMacbook Pro Memory Upgrade

Pros: Works as it should. I made sure that I had the newer firmware MBP51.007E.B06 and newer than Snow Leopard OS X on a Late 2008 MacBook5,1 as demanded to recognize more than 4 GB of RAM to take advantage of this. The memory was recognized immediately and speed as well as application load capacity was increased as expected. The website http://everymac.com/ (no affiliation) should always be consulted first when performing any upgrade of your Mac. That is what told me that this upgrade was possible, even though Apple said it wouldn't work.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as Described

Pros: Just dropping a quick review to vouch for the quality and ease of installation of this RAM with my Macbook Pro mid-2009 2.53GHz. The install took about 5 minutes with no real difficulties encountered. I bumped up from 4GB and noticed improvements in startup time and system responsiveness with OSX 10.9 Mavericks.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Follow the installation instructions, take your time. It's well worth it!

Pros: Ram working fine in a Macbook Pro mid 2009 with Unibody.

Received the Ram with a 16x256 configuration which was required for this type of device.

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fast. Work like wonder on my mid'09 13" macbook pro 2.53

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I put 4 stars since I only use this for less than a year, so don't know about the durability yet

5 out of 5 eggsMac Mini Server 2009

Pros: Great Corsair quality. Put it in and the Mini saw an immediate slight speed increase on memory-intensive processing.

Cons: Reaching the RAM in any of the older Minis is a serious pain. On top of that, the top slot has a weird seating that makes you think the ram is in far enough, but it isn't.

Other Thoughts: Lots of talk about people putting in 16gb on the older minis in various forums.

When double-checked, all were "it should work" or they knew a "friend of a friend." I stuck with specs and it's working quite well so far.

5 out of 5 eggslove it

Pros: Have only run one OSX bench on this memory an seem to be pretty good.

No problems, this is in a 2009 MBP 13, I also bought a friend this same memory for a 2010 MBP 15, and so far never a problem.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I have run, lion, mountain, and now I have Maverick, 10.9 the newest OSX that is not out to the public.

Been working very well with all OSX.

Corsair has been known for the best memory for years.

5 out of 5 eggsSped up my Mid-2009 MacBook Pro

Pros: Worked exactly as described.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Mac support page has a great tutorial for a quick 5 minute installation. Make sure you have the correct mini-screwdriver to open your case!
