5 out of 5 eggsSimple

Pros: 1) Easy install
2) Worked perfectly without any configuration.
3) Paired up nicely with my existing dual-channel kit.

Cons: 1) Had to force the sticks pretty hard into my RAM slots. Not sure if that's an issue with the sticks themselves, or my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: The RAM is pretty snazzy looking.

5 out of 5 eggsFast Ram, No problems, sick looks!

Pros: Vivid red colour!
Fast 1600mhz!
Solid build, no complaints.
Classier looking than Ripjaws X but still aggressive.

Cons: WARNING: When installed in computer it will run at 1333mhz, not 1600mhz. Simply go into BIOS and activate the XMP profile to get rated speeds at 9 9 9 24.

5 out of 5 eggsFast RAM!!

Pros: Very fast, very red, very hot!! I order 2 sets of these to max my motherboard at 16GB. You really only need 8GB for gaming, but I figured, why not. I've almost always ordered Corsair 9 time out of 10, and have never been disappointed, never gotten a bad stick, never had to RMA anything back. From PSUs, SSDs, Computer Cases, RAM, Hydro Series Liquid Coolers and will still remain a loyal customer.

Other Thoughts: Corsair makes great products and they were very successful at making this RAM. It looks awesome and performs even better. If you're going to invest in some great, fast RAM, this is it.

5 out of 5 eggsStable Ram So far

Pros: Easy to install, HUGE HEAT SINKS. Has been stable in my system (Asus Z87 Pro) mobo for about 48 hours, passed various stress tests and hasn't missed a beat yet!

Cons: In my full case the heat sinks were great, in a smaller one it could be a little too big but only if you're bad at cable management or have a miniATX case.

Other Thoughts: not sure because it didn't happen to me but I could see the heat sinks being an issue in a smaller case.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy drop in fit

Pros: Not overly large or wide heatsinks make it a very easy fit on a DDR3 Motherboard.

Cons: None so far.

4 out of 5 eggsDid fine while it lasted

Pros: What can I say. While it was working, it worked great and looked tremendous. I'm n ot much of a gamer, but I do use large spreadsheets and graphic files.

Cons: Unfortunately, my computer started to reboot itself out of the blue. I would get the blue screen and a crash dump screen. I tolerated this for a while but eventually decided to do something about it. I was going to build a new machine anyway and upgraded to a Gigabyte UD4H with an Intel i7-4771(good price on Newegg). I kept the memory, thinking the motherboard was the problem. Well, to my surprise, the new build did the same thing. Since I had replaced the motherboard AND the boot drive (with a PNY 240Gb SSD) it was obviously the memory. Once I replaced the memory with some Team Vulcan (16Gb) the problem went away. I must say that the built in graphics processor on the i7 does a great job with what I am doing. I use the DVI port on the back of the Gigabyte MOBO and now I can give my old system, which was a Quad core Phenom and an Nvidia 8899GT to my nephew. He'll love it.

Other Thoughts: My son also built a gaming computer using the Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H motherboard, an MSI Radeon R9 290, an Intel i7-4770k( he will overclock) and an Intel 256Gb SSD boot drive and game drive. It really improved his gaming experience. He'll have to write his own review.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Working RAM

Pros: Recognized and works, easy install, feels solid physically.
No issues.

Cons: No cons, other than the lower speed default , but not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: Used on ASUS Z-87-A, BIOS had it set for 1333Mhz initially. but the XMP profile set it to the correct speed.
Have been getting some system messages on low memory when playing games using the Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics - no noticeable performance difference though. May just be a windows setting to get rid of this.
