4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Looks nice
-Only $40
-Its Corsair so it will work with pretty much every mobo out there

Cons: -Only reason I docked an egg was due to the fact that I had to manually overclock the ram to go from 1333MHz to 1600MHz, no biggie tho, only took 5 seconds to OC it

Other Thoughts: Every time I start my computer, the LED on the mobo that tells if there is a "bug" with the RAM, always flashes, but then shuts off. Not sure if this is normal startup procedure or what, but it seems to work fine

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Ram

Pros: Worked right out of the box, set it to the right speed and voltage in bios and haven't had any issues. Exactly what I expected from this ram, also bought the 8gb kit, both are great at great prices.

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Its made by Corsair, I swear by this brand. been using them for years. Low Profile for a SFF bulid.

Cons: Had difficultly installing windows on the build, after some checking of error codes (0x80070570) I puled one DIMM still same issue, so I replaced it and pulled the other still same. Pulled an old corsair Dominator out of my other PC put it in and no more issues installed fine.
I would have understood one stick to be bad, wouldn't have been upset at all as things sometimes go bad. But both is something I did not expect from Corsair.

Other Thoughts: I still stand by corsair, two bad sticks isn't going to erase the many many years of 100% flawless operation of corsair sticks in my builds.

Some times Tech fails, as simple as that.

Also if you ever see 0x80070570 code when installing windows, check your ram first.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Of course you have to go to the bios and set it to XMP, that's what it is or otherwise it runs at the default. Just finished a build with 2x4 ram sticks, i-5 2500K and msi z68 board and overclocks easily and very well too. Ram has passed every test.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Easily fits under a cm hyper 212 evo cooler.

3 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: It's Corsair... pioneer of high performance memory.

Cons: I've been a faithful customer over the years... buying lots of RAM for my computer retail business and Corsair has always provided that. Now... when I needed it the most... it has failed me and there is no way an RMA will take care of this problem. I had a time sensitive build for a Tax business, needing a specific build for their business and now the RAM has failed right out of the box. They are picking up the system tomorrow, and have to travel 300 miles round trip to pick it up because they need it ASAP.

Is quality that hard to test? Can you not make sure your product gets tested before it is released? What can go wrong? Is your product that fragile that it cannot handle a well designed package from the factory to the customer?

I guess they will have to deal with 2GB of RAM when they were expecting 4GB. But now, how will I RMA this ram when they are 300 miles away and using half the product?

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair is the best

Pros: Low profile heat spreaders so it fits with plenty of clearance with my CPU cooler. Awesome blue color too.

Cons: I had to go into the bios to change it to 1600, but no big deal.
