Step Up To Solid-State Speed with Force Series 3

One of the best PC performance investments you can make.

You'll be amazed at the improvement over traditional hard drive access times the first time you turn on your computer, and for virtually everything you do with your PC. System startup, game and application load times, file loading, data transfers, and even shutdown times are all faster.

Your system will be more responsive, and you'll be more productive.

Add up all the time you spend all day waiting for your computer — starting up, loading game levels, saving large files and documents, and just moving data around — and it can be significant.

Using a PC can be a lot more enjoyable when it's not always making you wait.

The power of SATA 3 6Gb/second performance

The SATA 3 connection on the Force Series 3 offers up to 6Gb/s speed vs. SATA 2 drives that top out at 3Gb/s.

Great for the latest high-performance PCs.

There's fast, and then there's fast. Force Series 3 SSDs have even quicker read and write times when they're installed in PCs that use the latest SATA 3 interface.

Compatible with SATA 2 3Gb/s.

Haven't yet moved to SATA 3? Like all Corsair components, Force Series 3 SSDs are designed to last through several system upgrades. Adding a Force Series 3 today means that you'll still get incredible storage performance now, and your SSD will be ready for your next upgrade.

Force Series 3: Get more for less.

Choosing a Force Series 3 SSD helps your computing budget go farther. Powered by the SandForce SF-2200 controller, they deliver outstanding SATA 3 6Gb/s performance, with prices that are comparable to lower-performance SATA 2 3Gb/s solid-state drives.

Corsair SSDs: Designed for Performance and Durability

Corsair SSDs are 2.5" wide, the same size as notebook hard drives. An adapter is included for mounting in standard desktop PC 3.5" drive bays.

TRIM Support

Force Series 3 SSDs feature support for the Windows® 7 TRIM command. This allows them to store only the data they need and perform memory optimization to ensure the fastest possible write speeds.

Reliability

Because SSDs have no moving parts, they can handle shock, vibration and temperature changes far in excess of traditional hard drives. That's important for desktop PCs, and essential for notebooks.

Cool and Quiet, with Low Power Consumption

Traditional mechanical hard drives spin at thousands of revolutions per minute. This takes power, and generates noise and heat. Since SSDs have no moving parts, there's no noise or vibration, and the lower power consumption helps keep things cool inside your PC.

3.5" adapter

The 2.5" form factor allows for installation in most notebook PCs with no adapter required. If you're adding a Force Series 3 SSD to your desktop PC, use the included 3.5" adapter to mount it in any standard hard drive bay.

5 out of 5 eggsRecommended SSD

Pros: Fast, Reliable, Easy to install, Stylish, Great operating temperature and humidity range, Sata 3 and 6 connections.

Cons: Disk space is a little low, but getting a more spacey GB drive will fix that for you.

Other Thoughts: Great overall drive, would buy another if it was in the budget at the moment. Hopefully lasts a while.

5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

Pros: Fast, Still going strong

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I did have to replace this drive a few days after I got it, but it was my fault. At the time of purchase I didn't know about the issue with running Disk Defrag on SSD drives.

It has been going strong for well over a year with heavy daily use.

1 out of 5 eggsBad drive Bad service

Pros: Fast while it works

Cons: not dependable, terriable customer service

Other Thoughts: My first one died after roughly 11 months sent in for a RMA took 3 weeks to get the new drive it lasted almost 3 weeks then it died. Was told by manufacture that they would send me a shipping label waited 4 days then paid myself to ship it back thats two times at nine fity a pop. 5 days later they got it and still they sent no label to me. Now it has been another 5 days and all the info says is recived. Poor communication from corsair, service reps lie to you about shipping label. You are better off spending a few more dollars for a dependable drive from a company that is honest. If i EVER get this one back and it goes bad i will have to take more drastic measures. I kept copies of all emails and tech reports. Please do yourself a favor and look at a different company.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair Delivers on Quality ... Again

Pros: This speedy 90 GB was my first SSD and while I did RMA my first drive, the second one had the same "problem" which turned out to be the disc my OS was installing from; I have no doubt my first drive would have worked fine. This SATA III SSD is feels like riding in an F1 race car when my friends are riding bicycles. I am planning on buying a second drive for a RAID 0 to increase my storage space soon.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Corsair really feels like the Porsche of the computer world in that the couple extra bucks for performance and quality you put down really DO give you your moneys worth. I have used their PSUs, RAM and now SSDs. I have never once been disappointed with any product from Corsair.

1 out of 5 eggsUNUSALL

Pros: Bought dec of 2011 and installed in wifes laptop she really liked the speed which everything moved.

Cons: Died oct 2011 they recived rma 10-22 shipped out new drive on 10-24 after 10 days of following tracking number it has never been picked up bu ups so i contact them and they said they would take care of it last week. so i wait 4 days and call them back they game me another tracking number said was shipped 4 days ago guess what ran new tracking number and it still says sitting at there warehouse to just label printed.

Other Thoughts: During a RMA i expect to be kept updated not to have to recontac company 3 more times. Even if it was shipped from china should of been here by now. I have read other reviews where they got them with in a couple of days to a week lucky i kept wifes old hard drive so she can at least use the laptop even though she says it is really slow now. Just not sure who dropped the ball on this one i will give it another couple of days if nothing is showing by them might be time to file a complaint with AG or BBB.

1 out of 5 eggsFlimsy connectors

Pros: Fast. Affordable.

Cons: Both plastic connectors (the plastic pieces that hold the pins) snapped off when disconnecting the drive.

Very disappointed. Contacted corsair and sent them pictures and they said it wasn't covered.

Other Thoughts: I was a loyal corsair customer....the SSD was even attached to a corsair PSU...

I've installed several HDDs and this has never happened.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing service

Pros: Very fast drive. This is my third SSD and my favorite.
Awesome support!

Cons: Died after 10 months of use. The bios would not detect it and you could not see it in disk management. Tested on three computers. It happens so no biggie.

Other Thoughts: I put in an RMA and it was fixed with no trouble at all! Total down time was a week and i am impressed. I have quite a few corsair products and i use them in customer builds. I will continue to do so after all the amazing customer service i have received from them.
