1 out of 5 eggsKernal panic

Pros: Easy install

Cons: I purchased this RAM in Oct 12. Recently (starting in Feb 13) my Mid 2011 MacMini 2.3GHz i5 has started being very unstable, resulting from Kernel Panics when I was pushing the processing power of the machine. Be advised, that when I was just web browsing it was okay. It was just when I was doing processor intensive tasks that it would crash / give me the kernel panic. I tested the ram with OSX's Hardware Test utility, and it locked up after 22 seconds of trying to test the memory. I have reinstalled the original 2GB the Mini shipped from Apple with and it has worked flawlessly since. I have contacted Corsair to setup an RMA and I am awaiting their reply.

1 out of 5 eggsBad module, poor customer support

Pros: Cheap price

Cons: Module went bad after 5 months. Initial install was fine, tested with Memtest and passed. I started getting random system crashes and corrupt downloads after about 5 months of usage. Tested again with Memtest and failed instantly. I contacted Corsair for RMA. The response I received was that my system was not compatible with the product, even though their own website tool lists this product as "Guaranteed Compatible"! I expect Corsair to know their own product specifications and not have a customer do their own research for them. This is my first and likely last experience with Corsair. I've never had RAM go bad before but understand that it happens. The customer support I received from Corsair is unacceptable.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat as Advertised!

Pros: Just as described, fit well. Owning a 13" Macbook Pro and perviously having 4Gb of RAM to 10GB this bumped my dedicated video memory from 384MB to 512MB.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsiMac Friendly

Pros: 32Gb works on Mid-2010 iMac i7.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking to upgrade your iMac to 32Gb of ram, this is what you need. Please do your research to make sure your iMac is able to take this much memory. Mid-2010 and up iMac's will take up to 32Gb of ram.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: With the discount cost practically the same as a normal memory, so I have 4GB of a 'let's say' normal PC Memory and this mac memory in my mac mini, and everything works great.
