Pros: Fast, this thing is fast. The rule to ally here is that you buy what you pay for. And though pricey this little stick of memory was definitely worth the money.

Cons: doesnt seem to play well with other ram, or stock at least

Other Thoughts: i originally had 8 gigs of ram, and being the person i am always want more. so i bought just one stick of 8 GB in hopes to buy the other later. poped it in and seemed to work just fine. so now having 12 GB total is awesome. though the windows index went down 0.3 points on ram, and it was originally 7.9 the best it can be. honestly this isn't a huge deal, just the fact it can not be utilize i guess to the fullest unless Corsair is totally in control of the RAM situation on your laptop. but that being said it it still worth it. i recommend anyone to buy it, that will work on their setup.

Pros: Good fast reliable memory.

Cons: I originally bought this memory to supplement the 8GB memory that came in my imac. However, as I learned, this memory has a cas latency of 10 and the memory shipped in the imac has a latency of 11. In order for the different memory chips to work together they have to be at the same speed and latency. The memory controller in the imac decided the best way to do this was to lower the speed to 1333 which is at what speed the factory installed memory can run at cas 10. So if you want to upgrade your imac to 24GB you should probably look for some cheaper slower memory that runs at cas 11.

Other Thoughts: Great if you are replacing the factory installed memory on your imac. Not so great if you are trying to supplement it.

Cons: consistently difective

Other Thoughts: Installed the ram into my zenbook ux32vd the same day I received the ultrabook, in 3 months it crashed about 200 time with that blue screen. did a little reseach online and found that a lot of this ram units are difective, that caused this to happen, but now not sure if i can exchange to different brand since about 4.5 months passed.

Pros: Works as stated.

Cons: none that I know of.

Other Thoughts: Anyone wanting to upgrade the CQ58-bf9wm laptop, this ram popped in and worked from startup.

Pros: Very fast and high capacity

Pros: I bought this to use with Lenovo x230 tablet. Laptop came with a 4gb ram and I added this 8gb ram to the other slot. Now I have 12gb and everything works well, no complaints. Absolutely no issues.

Cons: No cons.

Pros: Price

Cons: Bought two single modules to replace the 16GB kit of two modules that failed MemTest x86+ after 6 hours. This one, one of the two modules starting to bring up single-bit errors after only 25 minutes of testing in both MemTest x86+ 5.00B1 and 4.20.

These modules may work great for other users, though in my Envy 17 3200 CTO, they didn't work one bit.

Pros: none, wouldve been nice if worked.

Cons: got a blue screen on start up, so I ran memtest and found the ram was defective. It probably deserves more than 1-egg if it worked, but I gotta tank the overall rating down to demonstrate the failure rate.

Working flawlessly
With 32GB to play with, virtual memory is disabled in Windows 7 with no issues running multiple memory hogging applications concurrently

Cheaper than buying the paired 16GB 8x2 modules.

Cons: None so far

Pros: Easy installation on the Ux32vd, however it lowered the overall speed down to 1333Mhz. Probably some sort of mis-match.

Works well so far, nothing wrong.

Cons: Make sure to do some research and see if it matches the RAM on your current laptop. In my case, it lowered the overall speed to 1333Mhz, not 1600mhz as described.

Other Thoughts: Recommend for any laptop that is looking for a boost in power and performance.
