Pros: It WAS very fast when it was working Cons: I got this memory in November 2012. I used it on my ASUS G75VW laptop. At the beginning it was fine. However, it died after about 5 months. Every time I turned on my laptop, it turned out to be blue screen. When I took away this memory, every thing works perfect. So I am totally sure the memory has somewhat problem and it die after all. This laptop only has two ram slots, so I definitely wanted to go all out with what I could. Couldn't ask for anythig more!!! Cons: price could of been 10-20 dollar cheaper. Other Thoughts: after installing the ram, I had tons of un-usable ram, I had to download a free app in the apple app store Mem free to release that ram and make it available. I used these on my MacBook Pro 2.6GHz i7 OSX 10.8.3 I know technically it's not supposed to work but after reading several others reviews, I took the plunge and so glad I did. I did the "memtest all 2" from the terminal and everything passed perfectly. Cons: None as of yet. Other Thoughts: I got this pair on a daily deal (I think) and the price point was to hard to pass up. Even at the price they are a t now it makes for an excellent buy. I edit all of our organizations videos on this machine, and while I'm waiting on the renders I multitask and surf the web for all things gadgetry! Pros: Easy install Great, trustworthy brand name Cons: a Little expensive, but newegg had the lowest price around. Other Thoughts: I bought these to max out my new laptop, they worked grat right out of the box, computer recognizes all 16gb and they were easy to install. Even though Newegg had the lowest price of the 5 or 6 different places I compared, I still would have liked to see them lower by maybe 10 or 15 bucks more. All I can say is everything works amazingly! My macbook pro is super-responsive and no longer "swaps" any of the RAM anymore :D The OS shows the full 16GB at 1600mhz! Well worth the buy!! They all worked pretty well with my iPhone 4 however they had to be "worn in" before they would fit right. On my iPod touch 4th gen they fit, but you have to force them in. Anyway for 5$ great deal.
