5 out of 5 eggsVery good ram

Pros: You get the speed and stability you paid for. It's fast and stable.
It's also very aesthetic right out of the box. However, I upgraded the light bar for some extra aesthetics and it now looks even better.
This version is 1.5V unlike other 1.65V ones.

Cons: Why isn't Corsair link cable included when the product supports Corsair link?

Other Thoughts: Not a complaint, but if you just want performance without aesthetics, Corsair Vengeance Pro or G.Skill Ripjaw X will do the same job.

5 out of 5 eggsAs advertised!

Pros: Very fast, runs well. Looks gorgeous. Very good specs.

Cons: Two things. Both are minor, in my opinion. First, obviously, you're paying a lot extra for looks. Secondly, it originally was running at a lower speed and CAS timing. But all I needed to do was enable the XMP profile and it ran as advertised!

Other Thoughts: Make sure you enable XMP profiles!

4 out of 5 eggsStunning but Tech wise: underwhelmed.

Pros: Looks gorgeous. The LED is very subtle and doesnt take away from any core components in the computer. Sturdy.

Cons: Very heavy. Hard to get in. Tall. What youre buying is basically cool looking RAM. Its not next gen kind of stuff, but still very beautiful. (which is why i bought it)

5 out of 5 eggsVery good memory.

Pros: Works whenever I use it and as a consultant that it what matters.

Cons: None but the price is too high.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend these if price points are not an issue. By the time you fool around finding memory that works you could have paid for these to work every time. That is the lesson I learned in my practice. So, tell the client to use these unless they just can't afford them.

5 out of 5 eggsThey don't call them 'Dominator Platinum' for nothing...

Pros: It's easier to list the few Cons rather than write a book about the Pros, but put simply-

Stupid Fast

Extremely Stable (Fantastic OC'er)

Very Solid build quality, like putting steel rods in my mobo.

Sexy...sexy.....ram. Sorry ladies, but you're gonna have to get in line.

Light Bar is very subtle. Just enough to let you know how much BadA-ness is in your dark rig without causing any distraction. (too dim for my personal taste)

Cons: Tall.... I talking 'Yao Ming' Tall. Be absolutely sure, if you're plan on using for example, a H100i etc. that you have the clearance. I knew my NZXT Phantom (original) would not allow me to keep my top 2x 200mm fans while using the H100i because the Ram sticks out too far, not a huge deal, but may find another case soon because of it. (those 200mm move a ton of air and are so, soooo quiet.

Other Thoughts: Keep an eye out for the prices, they are fluctuating quite a bit do to recent events around the world. In March of 2013, I payed far less ('Newegg' prefers that prices be left out), but I wouldn't hold my breath. Don't quote me, but I don't think prices will be dropping anytime soon.

5 out of 5 eggsBest looking RAM on the market

Pros: These sticks of RAM function quite well but the biggest draw to them is how great they look. The lighting effect is subtle and very effective.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: They are expensive, but you are paying for the aesthetics and the Corsair quality. I've been buying strictly Corsair RAM for years and I've never once had a bad stick. I continue paying a little extra exactly for that reason.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Best looking ram, ever. Zero problems.
I don't plan on overclocking it at all, I did tighten the timings up just ever so slightly. Bumped the voltage to 1.6 and left it at 8-8-8-24 but lowered the Command Rate (CR) to 1T. Performing great while staying very cool to the touch.

Cons: Performes the same as cheaper ram with same rated speeds.

Other Thoughts: I bought this knowing full well that I was paying a premium pretty much just for the looks. After many years of building just "budget" pc's for myself/friends/family I wanted something different. And these sure are different!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Not only does this RAM look amazing but it performs even better. I had the AMD budget friendly performance RAM and that performed well but this Corsair Platinum blows it away. Nice plug and play ability as well especially with an Asus Crosshair V motherboard. The lights inside the top rail on the RAM chips are a nice subtle touch as well. Not blindingly bright either.

Cons: None that I've seen so far.
