1 out of 5 eggsBought for a project but DOA

Pros: Low profile is good for large CPU fans that may cover RAM Slots.

Cons: Cheap

Other Thoughts: Purchased for a project that was going to take me a few weeks to get all the parts together for. By the time I had gotten everything together and could actually run MemTest on the memory, I was out of the return period. MemTest found errors within 30seconds. Wife had thrown out the packaging since trash pickup was that day. With no other options, ended up having to throw them away. A complete waste of money.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as Advertise

Pros: They work more than fine just as advertised. I got it on sale when it was around 70$ or so and for the price, I do not regret it one bit.

Cons: Nothing. Still working nice and strong.

1 out of 5 eggsStay Away

Pros: NONE

Cons: This is an update to my previous review. I ordered 3 kits and 2 were bad. I sent both back to Corsair. I just received my replacements kits and both of them are bad. This memory is utter garbage.

2 out of 5 eggsSupport Isnt Great

Pros: The memory seems to be decent for my need.

Cons: one of the sticks stopped working right about 3 months after I bought them. I confirmed with memtest.
Support is lacking, especially the RMA team.

Other Thoughts: Support almost lost my RMA. They couldnt find my delivery. thankfully i shipped it fedex and it shows who signed for it. then it took them 3 days to actually ship it after they sent me the tracking #. I probalby wont buy Corsair again after that experience.

1 out of 5 eggsStay away

Pros: None. Look elsewhere.

Cons: 3 kits ordered, 2 are bad and generate tons of errors in memtest. There is obviously a quality control problem with this line.

Other Thoughts: Disappointed in Corsair. Generally their RAM is top notch.
Also a bit disappointed in newegg's willingness to help out with this matter. Be aware you may be stuck with this RAM and left to deal with the manufacturer. While normally that would be ok, I got a feeling I'll be stuck sending back several kits till I finally get two that work.

1 out of 5 eggsbusted

Pros: cheap, pretty package, heatsinks

Cons: doesn't work. random memtest errors. had lower voltage to 1.4 and latency to 11-11-11-24 to make it not error, ordered 5 of these, random combinations would produce random results randomly. also, limit of 5 per customer, i was going to buy more, but i guess

Other Thoughts: this is no way to order memory, i know consumer stuff is consumer, but it's not supposed to throw such random errors.
