5 out of 5 eggsWOW!

Pros: The best ram that I've ever owned BAR NONE!
ASUS X79-Deluxe Bios 0701
2X GTX-770
4820k 4.9Ghz
Corsair H110
Corsair Dominator platinum 1866 9-10-9-27
EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2

Cons: WOW! Don't get anything over 1866 or 16GB you will just waist your money.

Other Thoughts: First of all when I overclocked my CPU I expected the auto tuner to slow down my ram but it didn't it just kept going and going all the way to 4.9Ghz KEEPING THE MEMORIES XMP 1.3 SETTINGS. Second well I can just go on and on about this stuff ,Don't settle for anything less buy it you won't be disappointed .

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Great, stable memory. Runs as advertised. First boot, loaded xmp profile and we were off to the races. Quad Channel and high capacity. The lights look awesome.

Cons: Price.

Other Thoughts: Haven't overclocked the memory yet. Used on a Asus x78 Deluxe and 4820k oc'd @ 4.5ghz.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat purchase

Pros: These look great and perform even better. The lighting is a nice touch. Went right in my EVGA X79 Classified motherboard with no problems. Selected the XMP profile, done.

Cons: None that I am aware of.

Other Thoughts: I've probably bought a terabyte of memory over the last ten or twelve years from Corsair. I've never had a problem with any of their memory. It just works. I just retired my first Corsair set (the extreme low latency DDR 400, 2-2-2-5, lol) after a flawless decade or more of service. They have a customer for life.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and beautiful.

Pros: These are on the QVL for my Rampage IV Extreme, and they perform flawlessly.

Cons: Zero

Other Thoughts: Running 4 sticks, 16 gigs. in quad setup. Perfect!
I have been running Corsair memory for 20 years, and I have never had a failure.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair Dominator Platinum

Pros: Looks great in my build, nice ambient white glow, performs great with my motherboard. I really like what I got. They're also color neutral, so they would fit in with any system.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: Sexy is one word that I would use to describe these. If you like performance and style with your system, pick these up. You won't be disappointed with your purchase. They were a great upgrade to my system and enhanced the speed as well as the performance of it as well. I recommend them.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat choice!

Pros: Looks awesome, ran at 1866 without any issues.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: These puppies may be unnecessarily fancy but I love em. They look awesome in my build with the light bar and run flawlessly at the speeds advertised.

5 out of 5 eggs"Premium" at your fingertips!

Pros: Very sexy looking. Solid, Stable and fast. Love the white LED's. Makes my whole system look very clean and sleek.

Cons: Heatsinks on these pups are a bit chunky.

Other Thoughts: I hope EK and other waterblock manufacturer's make RAM blocks for these. I'm yet to see how they perform when pushed beyond their limits.

4 out of 5 eggsGood thing I had four...

Pros: It's Corsair...enough said.

Cons: A little over 4 months in, one stick flat lined. System crashed while preforming a virus scan and wouldn't reboot, had some system glitches that led me to do the scan and it ended up being one of the sticks in the set that was causing the problems. System is still cranking strong only two sticks, I just have to lighten the load on it a bit.

Other Thoughts: I've run Corsair memory in most of my builds over the years and this is my first and only problem and won't keep me from going Corsair again, the odds finally caught up with me...hopefully the RMA process will be painless.

1 out of 5 eggsWarning! Not Quad channel RAM

Pros: Beautiful and I want it.

Cons: I'm building a rig with a high-end Asus ROG R4F motherboard (purchased here). I Go to Asus support and DL the Memory QVL file and find it does not list ANY C. Dominator Platinum as compatible. I figure it's just out of date, so I email Corsair Support. Truth is, no Dominator Platinum as of 3-1-13 is true quad channel, though it will run. Quote:
"The reason why you can't find these modules for your X79 board is because these modules are only tested, pre screened and qualified for dual ch. motherboards. The memory kit that's qualified using the quad ch motherboards are the one with ...3M4X.... part number. Noticed how the "A" replaced by "X" in the part number. Technically the "A" part number will work with the Quad ch. X79 boards, we have never encounter any compatibility issue so far. "

Check it out yourself; e mail Corsair customer support. I can't post the link here.
This explains a lot! All those benchmark tests that say quad channel is not much better than dual channel. Were they testing real quad chanel, or RAM falsely portrayed as quad channel?
The beautiful flagship of Corsair memory is not quad channel -- at these prices! I am shocked. I really liked these, but I'm sending mine back - ordered elsewhere.

This is NOT a Quad channel Kit!

Other Thoughts: Newegg -- I love ordering from you guys, and get 90% of all my computer stuff here, but you need to make corrections in your brief descriptions and in the detail section for this memory.

Your chief competitor makes no quad channel claims.
