5 out of 5 eggswhat loading screen?

Pros: Wanted an SSD that I could also put my main video games on, not the small 60GB boot drive. Over a year after I bought it, still puts up the same numbers it did when it was new. All I did was flash the firmware via corsairs website. Connected to sate 6Gbps port,

Cons: Price, while I'm sure they are cheaper now. when released this was about a $ a gig, corsair always makes quality, so I always buy corsair, PSU, Cooling solution, SSD.

5 out of 5 eggsBest SDD I have owned

Pros: Very, very fast. I use it on a gaming laptop (ASUS G74 core I7 2.2GHz). Previously I had an 120 Force GT, which was also fast, but this one, the Neutron, is just in a different league... Compared with the OCZ vector that I have in the company laptop (also a core I7, slightly faster processor - 2.4GHz), it feels a little more responsive. Honestly, I wouldn't trade this SSD for any other one so far.

Cons: Can't find one no matter how much I try. Knock on wood so it won't break right after this review, lol.

5 out of 5 eggsNice solid ssd

Pros: Has been just how i expected awsome. im getting read speeds of 465mb/s and write speeds of 435mb/s i know it can do much better but i havent done anything to try and fix it, its good enoguh for me. im running it in an alienware m14x i7 2.8 8mb cache(up to 3.8 with turbo boost) 16gb of ram, 2gb nvidia gt 650m.

Cons: none as of yet

Other Thoughts: SSD can be made out of a better material feels to light : )

5 out of 5 eggsSatisfied

Pros: Fast and reliable for the moment. Scored high at benchmarks

Cons: The Force GS looks better, to me

Other Thoughts: Not as fast as I thought it would be. Great expectations when you switch from 5400 rpm to SSD

5 out of 5 eggsFast!

Pros: It's incredibly fast. Even though my motherboard only supports SATA II, it still performs on the Windows Experience Index a 7.8. Boot time is lightening fast, which I expected, and gaming is much improved, which surprised me.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: When I first installed it, I was getting dismal performance, and the Windows Experience Index rated it at 5.9. So I went into my bios and changed the HD settings to AHCI from IDE and reinstalled everything which fixed the issue I was having of it hanging every few seconds.

5 out of 5 eggsExtremely satisfied

Pros: Amazing speeds
5 year warranty

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Used Windows partioning tool and system image to migrate old drive to SSD. Initially installed the drive on my boards Marvell SATA 3 controller which was a mistake as AS SSD read and write speeds were well below expected. Move to intel controller and then discovered I didn't have ACHI enable on my original WD drive. Had a small hassle getting the BIOS and drivers sorted out. Once finished the read and write speeds jumped significantly and AS SSD gives me a overall score of 960. Extremely satisfied with the performance.

2 out of 5 eggsNot as Advertised

Pros: Drive is faster than a normal drive. No heat.

Cons: Ok first let me say this was a system build for a customer. Mobo: BIOSTAR TA990FXE AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS, AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz, EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0, AVEXIR Core Series 16GB Kit (4 x 4GB) Quad Channel 240-pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000. The system is a smoker! Fresh windows 7 ultimate 64bit with AHCI enabled. However even after calling Tech support, uninstalling drivers, trying MS base drivers, cloning the drive, running Partition magic and wiping the drive , then replacing the data again I still only get a dismal 251mb/s on write and 284mb/s on read, which is a far cry from the 599mb/s advertised

Other Thoughts: I was told by the Tech that this drive performs better on an Intel system. I wish I had known that BEFORE.

Its still fast with Windows Index topping out at a solid 7.8 but I feel cheated that this drive is so expensive and its not giving the full performance as it was advertised.

5 out of 5 eggsDarn Good!!! LOL

Pros: Very Fast, programs load instantly, Slim form factor for notebooks/laptops. Benchmarks are killer. 5 year warranty! Loads multiple programs in a flash without a problem. Great for multi-taskers.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I was suprised to see a real world difference between this drive and my OCZ Agility 2 (240gb) ssd that I had in my laptop. It loads programs more noticeably faster than my sata 2 ssd. I was skeptical buying this drive but I am glad i shelled out the extra cash for a better performing drive. All benchmarks on websites are consistent with what I have ran on my laptop. Buy it, you wont regret it!
