5 out of 5 eggsThis RAM lookin fine

Pros: Looks awesome. Haven't tried overclocking it yet, but its quick at stock speeds. Nice packaging, seems like it's really protected during shipping.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic memory!

Pros: Stable, reliable, works out of the box with minimal tweaking. Fantastic looking memory with the LED downwash

Cons: A little tall, so beware of radiator / fan combos on the back of the case over the I/O area. They will not clear the memory in the TJ11 case with an H80i stacked with 2 fans

Other Thoughts: I installed this in a Rampage IV Extreme board on the latest BIOS (4701). I set it to XMP and it started right up and runs super stable through memtest. I have seen reports of batches of this not working with the Rampage but I had no such issues. I'm running it's little brother dual channel in my Z87 4770K rig and again, not an issue. Super stable, cool, and cool looking. I have this running with a 4930K processor. Both the processor and memory were new to the system replacing the 3930K and 16GB of Ripjaws Z. System booted first time and runs great.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns great, look even better!

Pros: Been running since the beginning of 2013. No problems so far, overclock a little, well didn't expect to overclock that much because of the density

Cons: A bit pricey

5 out of 5 eggsNew Review

Pros: I made a previous review saying this memory was slow and wanted to correct this, at the time I was angry and posted too hastily before messing with some more settings. This memory now gets ~17GB per second aggregate.
If anyone else is having problems with this ram use the following: tCL 9, tCRD 9, tRP 9, tRAS 24, CR 2T, TRC 41, tWR 12, tRFC 300, tRRD 6, tWTR 6, tFAW 30, tCWL 8, 1.50 volts

Cons: None anymore.

Other Thoughts: Works on Asrock extreme 9 990fx.

3 out of 5 eggsSlower than expected

Pros: High quality chips, pcb, and heat spreaders, stable runs at 798.30mhz (x2) ddr1600(no overclock) without any bios adjustments on the ASRock Extreme 9. Good timings snappy with file copying on ramdrive. I have one gripe with this ram read the cons.

Cons: Slow, only reads at 9.13GB/sec on sisoft sandra, its not a type of slow that you notice when running applications but it is much slower than even lower end memory kits which reach 15+GB/sec read speed. If this had been listed in the spec sheet on newegg I would have picked a different kit. Thus only three eggs. If i could I would send it back and buy a different one that can achieve the bandwidth I expect out of ddr3 memory especially "Dominator Platinum" grade memory.

Other Thoughts: I was thinking it might be possible that it was the cpu or motherboard but when opening AMD Overdrive and looking at the spec sheet for the ram modules it shows Maximum Bandwidth 10.7GB/sec. This greatly disappoints me that its not just a setting issue but in fact this ram is just slow. When running a Qsoft Enterprise Ramdisk on it i get only 4.2GB/sec read and 5.0gb/sec write when my friends old Sony Vaio laptop with 4gb of ram gets over 5.8GB/sec read on ramdrive. Another friends Desktop Phenom x4 with generic ddr3 was pulling 18GB/sec~ on sisoft with cas10 ram. The speed of the ram and the fact that newegg does not list that this memory runs this slow in GB/sec is why I gave it a low egg rating. If you just want 32gb of super stable ram and don't care about bandwidth that much its at least good quality for its speed as in no errors and good manufacturing, but way too slow for quality ddr3 1600.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with my Alienware Aurora R4

Pros: Well-built ram, sleek/sexy design, low latency, and it works in my Alienware Aurora R4! I have tried almost every set of ram to upgrade my Aurora R4, nothing was compatible except for this ram (and Dell's OEM ram). Upgraded from my stock Dell 16gb DDR3 1600mhz ram to this.

Cons: Price. You get what you pay for however...

Other Thoughts: If you plan on upgrading your Alienware Aurora R4 to this ram, you may have to set the ram timing to be manual and set your ram voltage to 1.5V manually. This ram is worth every penny!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great right out of the box at the timings advertised and it looks great as well.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It is kind of tall, so for those with air coolers it could be an issue.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper-fast RAM

Pros: Fast RAM with good default timings for latency. All four of the 8-GB modules fired up the first time (I've had experiences before when I had to install the OS with only one module in place and add the others afteward). I'm not big on computer bling, but the massive heat-spreaders with their metal edge-guards and white LED lighting are undeniably good looking.

Cons: None, but see below.

Other Thoughts: The large heat-spreaders make this very high-profile RAM. Check for compatibility with your CPU fan/heatsink. I originally purchased a Noctua NH-D14 cooler but it is wide and there wasn't sufficient clearance from the RAM. I had to substitute a thinner Noctua NH-D12 cooler and, even with that, I had to move one of the fans slightly in order to for it to clear the RAM. Not a con -- you can't blame the RAM -- but be careful!
