5 out of 5 eggsPerfect RAM

Pros: Plugged these in, loaded up XMP profile in bios, and everything has worked perfectly at the advertised 2133mhz, Cas 9, 1.5v. System has been rock-solid. They also look fantastic.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: A bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredibly solid

Pros: These RAM sticks are amazing. Super stable running in the XMP mode (2133 MHZ) and 1.5v. Also super fast. You would be hard pressed to find faster sub timings at this speed. CAS latency of 9 is INSANE.

These aren't low profile modules, so they do have some height to watch out for, if you use those big coolers or your water cooling tubing isn't super flexible. Works fine with my H80i, but only just.

Tested all sticks with memtest86+ for a couple days without issues.

Cons: Nothing really.

Other Thoughts: I really like the way they look. Not as ostentatious as the vengeance series. Like the rolls royce of memory.

5 out of 5 eggsTop Shelf!

Pros: Solid, heavy , great looking sticks. Nice touch with the LED's.
Worked right out the chute on my EVGA X-79 Dark motherboard. Loaded up the 2133 MHz 1.5v XMP Profile right after I built this system a week ago, and it ran without a hiccup and still is. 1.5V, 2133 MHz, at Cas9. Unreal.

Cons: Not one so far.

Other Thoughts: When this ram arrived from Newegg and I opened the shipping carton and lifted this boxed kit out of it, the first thing that struck me as the beautiful packaging and the weight of these things. When I took the sticks out of their packaging, they were a work of art. I feel privileged to have these 4 - 4gb sticks sitting in my memory slots. And they look great with the system running, the led's blend right in with my case led's.

Even though this kit is not on EVGA's list of qualified ram for the Dark board ( they need to update list), they work wonderfully. I see others post on the forums all the time having trouble getting their ram kits to run at their rated 2133 MHz and often have to settle for 1866 or bump up the voltage, not so for these. Holding steady at 1.5v without a hiccup.

Corsair advertises these as hand picked, and I have no doubt that is absolutely the case. I almost feel like these were hand selected just for myself...

5 out of 5 eggsS.P.E.E.D.

Pros: X.M.P. right out of the box. Beautiful design. Quality built.

Cons: Price: but, you get what you pay for and I gladly paid for these.

Other Thoughts: I'd like to see the optional light bar become the ships with standard.

5 out of 5 eggsFast, Pretty, Well made!

Pros: Very Fast, Stacks faster than my 2400MHZ Gskill sticks, almost a full 10% faster. Very impressive.

Well made, these sticks are heavy in the hand and extremely well crafted, if you could make RAM an artform I would imagine it to be something like these.

Pretty, very attractive appearance, heatsinks are engraved and look stellar when installed.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: They work easily with XMP or manual overclock, will easily max RAM tests through Aero Desktop and anywhere else. not sure if XMP is equally effeciant on all boards, im using Maximus VI Rog board, and these sticks love it.

5 out of 5 eggsHuge!

Pros: HUGE computer case.
Looks very nice!

Able to do some serious wire configuration with this case and modify it the way I need to. I was able to get this item for a steal of $280 with free shipping. I don't think I would ever be able to justify it for anything more than that though.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Some additional fans would be nice but are not needed at all.

5 out of 5 eggsFast! Beautiful! Superb!

Pros: These are beautiful dimms, first and foremost. The heatsink is in a nice shiny, but somewhat brushed style of aluminum, giving it a very unique look. Each stick all have an etched (is that even the right word?) Corsair logo on the front, giving it an even more "high-end" look and feel.

But this RAM isn't just all eye candy. Don't let the pretty profiles fool you - these are fast. REALLY, REALLY FAST. And efficient. REALLY, REALLY EFFICIENT. If you haven't read the specs yet (why the hell not?), let me highlight them for you again - CAS 9 (that's NINE), 2133mhz @ 1.5 volts. ONE-POINT-FIVE. That is simply put, insane.

This is like the Porsche amongst memory. Not only are they aesthetically beautiful, they are also durable, efficient, and powerful. For the entire Dominator Platinum line, beauty & power share no compromises.

Cons: Expensive as hell. $250 price tag is not bank-breaking (for most people with a decent job and isn't forced to pay child support or something crazy like that), but it is a hefty amount for what you're getting, which is... RAM, to be precise. Oh, and I guess the only other con is that these are NOT the highest rated RAM from Corsair. There are 2400mhz, 2666mhz, and 2800mhz kits (of course, with looser timings). So "NOT THE BEST." 911 Turbo compared to a GT3. How sad.

Other Thoughts: Do you WANT these? Probably. Do you NEED these? Probably not. I bought them for the combination of looks and performance, without sacrificing one for the other. But if I was to be completely honest, I wanted these for the eye candy, first and foremost. If you're on a budget, there are much better options, much better ways to spend your money to get comparable performance (or hell, worse "performance" but MORE RAM). If you have money to spend, no child support to pay, no crazy girlfriend to spend 90% of your paycheck on, and love ridiculously fast and pretty-looking RAM, then go for it. Who's gonna stop you?

5 out of 5 eggsSexy ram

Pros: Well obviously they look fantastic. Easy to setup. Works great with X.M.P on a RIVE. Very decent timings of, 9-11-10-30-2 @ 1.5 volts . Lighting is very nice and low lit.

Cons: I want to say price like a lot of reviews I have personally read but... You get what you pay for. They are very solid even compared to dominators.
But I did open my ram kits to find scratches on the chrome of 3 of the sticks. They are very light but I wish they where more careful handling the memory for testing and packaging. I don't want to be out of a computer so I didn't try to return them. It's just very upsetting dropping 240 dollars on memory and find light scratches before you even open the individual plastic covers. They need to apply a peel off protector over the finish of the ram.

Other Thoughts: They look awesome, why else are you buying these? Works well on X79 with 1.5 volts. Not going to drop the rating for the light on the ram

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Memory!

Pros: Works as advertised: Rock Solid. Didn't realize it had the lights until PC was in sleep mode, very cool. Impressive looks to it and does the rest of the system components justice.

Cons: Expensive vs generic memory.

Other Thoughts: Works at 2133 mhz with no problems at all.

Good memory is often not appreciated: if you have a good SSD, consider that is only where your data is brieftly loaded from. Most of the time you are actively using a PC, the data is in RAM and CPU.

There isn't alot of sense going past 2133 mhz or 16GB since most CPU are not rated for speeds over this and most applications don't take advantage of more space. This kit is a sweet spot of and a logical RAM plateau for alot of systems.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat Memory!!

Pros: corsair did it again, they made a great product!!
These are 4 x 4 ram sticks, and i am running them with Rampage Iv Extreme @ 2133 and they are doing just fine!
- look great,
- they stay very cool,

Cons: The heat sink extends out a little bit too much...

Other Thoughts: I have h80i with my corsair 800d and rampage iv, the sticks heat sink extends soo much, it is touching the radiator from the h80i... not a big problem.
