Pros: Very fast and, thus far anyway, very reliable memory. I have been using the XMP profile, running at 2400 since the second time I booted my system with no problems. Even while doing very memory intensive tasks the memory doesn't seem to get hot. At first I thought I would need a dedicated fan on them, but it would seem I do not.

Cons: None thus far.

Other Thoughts: Looks really good in my build, too! Now I just have to save up my pennies to get another 16GB to max out my board...

Pros: I've read reviews that it's hard to keep memory OCed on X79, but these things have stayed at 2400MHz without any issues whatsoever. Just enable XMP and set your clock in the BIOS. About as easy as it gets. Very tight timings. Very aesthetically appealing design with downwash style lighting underneath the anodized aluminum heatspreader. You get what you pay for.

Cons: A little steep when it comes to memory, but this is Corsair. With a lot of other brands I've experienced DOA sticks. Never once had this issue with this brand.

Pros: FAST!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is an update to my last review. At first I was disappointed with the 1333Mhz when OC CPU. But then I realized that I could get the full 2400Mhz when you enable XMP option on mu mobo. I haven't had any problems and am much happier now that I can use the entire 2400.

Pros: Great waranty, awesome tech support. It works reguardless

Cons: Cant get it to run 2400 with Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z even though it says it accepts ddr 2400. (note from tech..->That would suggest a limitation on the system side. Please keep in mind that the CPU you have can only support up to max DDR3 1333 natively; therefore, it is not likely that this CPU/system can run the RAM up to 2400. Thank you.)

Other Thoughts: They should tell you before you spend more money on ram that would cost less to get the slower speed, because your I7 has limitations.

We are happy to see that you've been helped. For clarification, anything over 1333MHz is technically overclocking the CPU's memory controller. And it is true that not all systems are capable of running the memory at 2400MHz, but Ivy bridge platforms (Intel 3rd Gen) should be capable of running it at the stated speed.
