5 out of 5 eggsIf you are frugal and you know it . .

Pros: Price, delivered in 2 days. Works in the Lenovo G510

Cons: Appearance maybe.

Other Thoughts: Bought new laptop, wanted 16g but did not want to spend time searching for a DIMM that was compatible with the machine or it's existing memory. The 'egg's memory finder steered me to this selection so I chose strictly on price. Corsair makes no mistake by trying to make this DIMM look like anything else. It let me know that I am frugal and labels the DIMMs with stickers that tell everyone that I am a cheapskate.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks good Asus G75VW

Pros: Works great in my Asus G75VW laptop. Now have 24 gig in laptop. No problems and passed memtest.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: My Asus laptop was a problem from day one. Had to send it in for a motherboard replacement right off the bat, then I had a bad 8 gig memory stick in it when it came back. I didn't want go back to rma with Asus again so just bought these and it works great. Don't think I will be buying an Asus laptop again though.

1 out of 5 eggsBad memory, even after return and replacement

Pros: Boots for a few minutes

Cons: Caused kernel panics within a few hours of installation.

Other Thoughts: Two separate sets of the same memory caused the exact same issues with my late 2012 Mac Mini - intermittent kernel panics, failure to pass any hardware diagnostic tests (the built-in Apple one just hangs, and the command-line memtest causes a kernel panic). One bad set is just bad luck, two bad sets in a row is poor quality control.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quick and easy upgrade to speed up a laptop. I have 16GB of it in a Dell Precision M6600 (Sandy Bridge i7) and thinking about installing another 16GB since the laptop has 2 unused slots. They gave me no trouble at all since I started using them.

Cons: None yet

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good

Pros: Quick and Easy

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Popped it in and fired the machine up and it worked. My needs are pretty easy so I was just happy to not have to concern myself with an RMA. I've had good luck with Corsair products in the past as well. Been running it for a couple months now.

5 out of 5 eggsMac Mini 2012

Pros: Works in Mac Mini Late 2012 model. Specifically, model MD387LL/A, which is the 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz) with 3MB L3 cache. Came with 4GB originally (2x2GB).

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Saves a few bucks from memory that specially mentions Apple in the description.

In casual use, I don't see a huge difference between the 4GB and the 16GB on my mac Mini. But now I'm maxed out so one less thing to perseverate over.

I don't use photoshop or Lightbox, which would probably benefit the most from 16GB.

4 out of 5 eggsGood RAM so far

Pros: Works as it should - adds more memory.
Can speed up computers with Intel HD Graphics
Inexpensive compared to others
"Trusted brand"

Cons: Price still high.

Other Thoughts: The memory works great in my ThinkPad T430. If you have a computer with Intel HD Graphics, and you're currently running a single channel of RAM, you will see a big increase in framerate with a dual channel setup. CineBench 11.5 went from 11.27 FPS to 18.9 FPS.
As well, this is Corsair memory, so I'd trust their quality and warranty a bit more than some of the more generic offerings.
I got it for $93 after an instant rebate. Watch out for these deals on RAM, they can save you alot.
Only complaint is of course, RAM prices in general are high and haven't come down.
