Corsair Force Series GT SSDs offers incredibly fast speed no matter what you do on your PC. It has SATA III interface which is also backward compatible with SATA II. This makes Force Series GT SSDs last through several system upgrades.

  • newegg Real-world performance Corsair Force Series GT is on another level in 4KB random write speed and sequential read speed. It is particularly adept at moving compressed data. You'll appreciate this real-world benefit if you work with music, movie and graphics files. It is an ideal choice whether you're building the ultimate gaming PC, a monster of a video or photo editing workstation, or you simply crave serious solid state storage performance.
  • newegg SATA III interface Force Series GT SSDs features SATA III interface which is also backward compatible with SATA II. Adding a Force Series GT today means that you'll still get incredible storage performance now, and you'll tap into its full performance potential with your next upgrade.
  • newegg TRIM Support Force Series GT SSDs feature support for the Windows 7 TRIM command. This allows them to store only the data they need and perform memory optimization to ensure the fastest possible write speeds.
  • newegg Cool and Quiet, with Low Power Consumption Traditional mechanical hard drives spin at thousands of revolutions per minute. This takes power, and generates noise and heat. Since SSDs have no moving parts, there's no noise or vibration, and the lower power consumption helps keep things cool inside your PC.

Pros: None

Cons: Bought 2. Both arrived totally DOA. Not recognized in my dock or 2 HP laptops

3 out of 5 eggs48hrs and dead

Pros: Fast when it was working.

Cons: 48hrs lifespan. Just bricked. Hdd indicator stayed in the on position but communication on 3 other pics and a crucial software fiag kit said it was dead.

Other Thoughts: Getting a replacement due to the fact it was nice when it worked. Giving it another shot.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA on delivery

Pros: great deal if it had worked...

Cons: unfortunately, drive was doa, could not even get it to appear in my bios. checked on the laptop it was intended for any my desktop using multiple sata ports and cables. after some additional research, this is not an uncommon occurrence for this refurb unit...

Other Thoughts: you may be lucky and get one that actually works, you may get one of the seemingly many that got through corsair's validation line, the risk is up to you whether you want to possible play the rma game.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat success here

Pros: Own 2. Both still working. One has seen a couple years of use and other about 6 months. Still stack up well against new SSD's in terms of speed.

Cons: I suppose they may give out at some point later. Still not priced low enough vs new Samsung SSD's.

Other Thoughts: I've bought 2 of these refurbished (1 from Newegg and 1 from elsewhere). Both are the 240GB capacities. Based on other reviews these seems to be a mixed bag, but mine have been good to me.
