The Corsair Force Series GT SSD offers incredibly fast speed no matter what you do on your PC. It has a SATA III interface, which is also backward-compatible with SATA II; this makes the Force Series GT SSD last through several system upgrades.

  • newegg Real-World Performance The Force Series GT is particularly adept at moving compressed data. You'll appreciate this real-world benefit if you work with music-, movie-, or graphics files. Starting up your PC, launching applications, loading and saving large files and documents – and just about everything else you do with your PC – is faster when you remove the bottleneck of old-fashioned hard drives.
  • newegg SATA III Interface The Force Series GT SSD features aSATA III interface, which is also backward-compatible with SATA II. Adding a Force Series GT today means that you'll still get incredible storage performance now, and you'll tap into its full performance potential with your next upgrade.
  • newegg TRIM Support The Force Series GT SSD features support for the Windows 7 TRIM command. This allows it to store only the data it needs, and perform memory optimization, to ensure the fastest possible write speeds.
  • newegg Cool and Quiet, with Low Power Consumption Traditional mechanical hard drives spin at thousands of revolutions per minute. This takes power, which generates noise and heat. Since SSDs have no moving parts, there's no noise or vibration, and the resulting lower power consumption helps keep things cool inside your PC.

1 out of 5 eggsExpensive demo

Pros: None.

Cons: It managed to die right after the warranty expired... imagine that.

Other Thoughts: I figured since it was a refurb the lifetime would not be as good, but...
Barely over 1000 hours out of 2000000?

It's like I paid for a demo.

1 out of 5 eggsRefurbished Corsair

Pros: Newegg's no hassle return policy on defective merchandise! Had no problems returning either defective ssd.

Cons: Bought one of these to give it a try. Already have other ssd in computers, however I was not able to get the first Corsair or its replacement on RMA to be recognized by any computer that I own (3 of them, 2 Dells and a HP).

Other Thoughts: I guess some times a deal is not a good deal.

5 out of 5 eggsFast SSD

Pros: Very fast
Nice price

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I was hesitate about purchasing a refurbish SSD drive. One thing that helped was that it was a Corsair. I put it in my wife's Dell E6400 3.06 GHz laptop. No problem at all. Took one screw out and pulled the old drive out. Switched the hard drive cover from the old to the new and plugged it back in. I formatted the drive and installed Windows 7 Pro on it. No problems at all. I also downloaded Corsair's toolbox from their website to do maintenance on the drive. Man it sure is fast. I also went to Square Trade Warranty and purchased a 3 year warranty for less then $10.00. Now if it dies I can get my money back. You can't beat that and my wife Robin is very happy with how much faster her computer is.LOL

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Supposedly one of the fastest SSDs on the market. I wouldn't know since it was DOA.

Cons: DOA - have to send back to Corsair and pay for shipping...

Other Thoughts: Not much of a deal when you have to pay shipping for RMA...

1 out of 5 eggsRefurbished Corsair 120 GB SSD

Pros: None

Cons: Purchased 7/13/2014, installed 1 week later, worked for 2 weeks then died. Not sure if I will RMA or even have time to. I should of heeded the other reviews and stayed away from it - and saved the money.

Other Thoughts: Buy a Samsung.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great for now, time will tell

Pros: Arrived in good condition.
Copied my OS to the SSD and everything went smoothly.
Windows is booting in ~15 seconds. Not bad.

Cons: Refurished, not sure if it will last

Other Thoughts: If this drive works as well as it does now for at least a year, I will consider this a good deal. For 50$ you really can't beat it.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome little Refurb

Pros: Performance was excellent and for the price you cant beat it.

Cons: none really.

Other Thoughts: I wanted a little ssd to act as my primary boot device but didnt really want to throw down a lot of money for my media center. Found this little bad boy and have been really pleased with it. Definitely picking up another one.
