The Corsair Force Series SSD product line offers maximum performance for your ultimate system with up to a maximum read speed of 285MB/s and write speed of 275MB/s. If speed is what you are looking for and what you expect from your performance or gaming system the Corsair Force Series SSD's are the perfect choice.

Based on the SandForce SF-1200 SSD Processor, the Corsair Force Series SSD's are the ultimate performance drive for your demanding storage requirements. Choose from the F40, F60, F80, F120, F160 or F240 drive for the highest performance and density. Your system will start-up faster, applications and games will load quicker and you will see a huge improvement in overall system responsiveness.

  • newegg SSD Storage Technology Unlike traditional hard disk drives, SSDs have no moving parts, resulting in a quiet, cool, highly reliable storage solution that also offers faster application loading and system responsiveness. And for laptops and netbooks, the lower power needs of SSD’s translate to extended battery life. Higher performance with more durability means you can be truly mobile with confidence.
  • newegg Better Performance Built with MLC NAND flash and the latest generation SandForce SF1200 controller featuring award winning DuraClass Technology, the Corsair Force Series CSSD-F60GB2/RF2 SSD delivers world-class SSD reliability, performance, and power efficiency, with maximum sequential read speed of 285 MB/s and maximum sequential write speed of 275 MB/s, plus incredible random 4K write performance of 50,000 IOPS (4K aligned).
  • newegg TRIM Support The Corsair Force Series SSD’s offer TRIM support than can be enabled in Windows 7. Designed to maintain the performance of SSD at an optimal level over the lifetime of the drive, TRIM functions by actively deleting invalid data from the SSD’s memory cells to ensure that write operations perform at full speed. Since a memory block must be erased before it can be re-programmed, TRIM improves performance by pro-actively erasing pages containing invalid data, allowing the SSD to write new data without first having to perform a time-consuming erase command. 2 out of 5 eggsCouldn't be Corsair

Pros: cheap at 30 bucks

Cons: doesn't hold items in memory after powered down ,so it is just a paperweight .Was going to use it to bring netbook to life ,netbook dead as doornail I used a 32 gb flashdrive instead.

Other Thoughts: Having used Corsair memory, power supplies multiple times I thought hey good deal, should have known that the 30 day warranty was for a reason . I hate it when a great manufacturer really puts out a terrible product and hoodwinks their customers . Their power supplies and memory are the best ,ssd's not so good .

4 out of 5 eggsBEWARE. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Pros: cheap - but turned out a waste of money

Cons: died while installing OS

Other Thoughts: 30 days warranty. but no refund. newegg will just send you another drive - which very likely will die just as fast as the first one they sent

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy

Pros: When it works it boots fast

Cons: Drive fails often, days to weeks at best

Other Thoughts: Bought this drive for an HTPC as a fast boot OS drive. The first drive arrived and within a day it was recognized by the BIOS less that 20% of the time. Got an RMA thinking it was just a fluke. The second drive failed within 2 week with the same symptoms. Looks like its Samsung or Crucial from now on. Sadly I cannot give this 0 eggs.

1 out of 5 eggsfailed within 40 days

Pros: cheap

Cons: not reliable

Other Thoughts: failed on the 40th days of ownership on a new build pc, used less than 20 times since I am not using the PC every day.
The warranty is only cover 30 days so I am out of luck to get a replacement. Corsair is a no-no manufacture for me start from now.

5 out of 5 eggsGood cheap SSD

Pros: Able to hold an install of Windows plus some programs
Very inexpensive
Rectangle shaped
Black color
Wasn't DOA

Cons: Refurbished = basically no warranty

Other Thoughts: Bought for a micro-ITX box to run Sophos UTM. Boots to connected in 45 seconds, no heat issues, and no my box has no moving parts to make noise. Got it on sale, so but you still can't beat the price.

5 out of 5 eggsBest cheap SSD so far

Pros: Pretty zippy
Low power usage
Works perfectly in Mini-pc router

Cons: None to speak of yet

Other Thoughts: I haven't benchmarked it or anything; the computer it's in isn't built for speed, but for low power consumption and reliability. I haven't had a bad Corsair product yet, so hopefully this one doesn't prove me wrong. For the price, it can't be beat.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's Ok

Pros: SSD
Cheap
Really fast compared to HDD

Cons: Installed this in my laptop and after waking from sleep it blue screened on me, My hdd did not

Other Thoughts: My very first SSD. It was a good experience over my HDD except for the waking from sleep thing. Would recommend buying an SSD just not a refurbished one.

2 out of 5 eggs50/50

Pros: Cheap 60 gig SSD.

Cons: Refurb so you get what you pay for. Only SATA II. 30 day exchange only warranty.

Other Thoughts: This is my 4th SSD but my fist refurb as well as SATA II. Put in older laptop that has had a Kingston & Intel SSD before for testing. Installed Linux and got errors on two different reboots in reference to reading data from the drive. Installed 7 then Linux. Currently working w/o issues however it is definitely slower than the other drives that were SATA III. But the laptop is only a SATA 1 to begin with so it's the bottle neck. Could be the pc even though I haven't had any issues with other drives whether they were HDD or SSD. I personally recommend buying a new SSD with a better warrantly.

5 out of 5 eggsGets the job done

Pros: Got this from a different site and works great. It's only used for my boot drive and work. But it's really fast.

Cons: Sata 2
