2 out of 5 eggsI agree with the person above me, The write speed is awful.

Pros: Design.

Cons: Write speed, 28MBps tested with ATTO and Crystal disk mark both same results. Corsair blames it on my usb 3.0 controller but i'm not buying that. I RMA'd it

2 out of 5 eggsOverpriced and underperforming

Pros: Fast Read Speeds.

Cons: Pathetic write speeds!

I get 35 MB/s on crystaldisk for sequential writes and 20-35 MB/s for file transfers of large movie files. In addition, the 512k, 4k, and 4kQD32 write speeds are only slightly faster than my 16GB adata s102 usb stick.
This is completely unacceptable for a drive marketed as having ssd like performance. I intended to use this drive as a boot drive for xubuntu 13.04 and it performed just as bad as my adata drive.

in summary: this drive is overpriced for file transfers and no good for booting an OS off of. Only buy this if you are a major corsair fanboy.

Other Thoughts: The sandisk extreme 32 GB is cheaper and outperforms this drive handily.

According to Corsair support forum they are currently investigating the bad performance reported for this drive. I'm not sure if this will result in a fix, but my reivew is for the state of the drive currently.

Newegg's dhl shipping is lethargic. ordered on 7/1 and delivered on 7/9
