This review is from: Corsair Flash Voyager GT USB 3.0 32 GB, Read 240 MBs - Write 100 MBs, Plug and Play (CMFVYGT3B-32GB)
Pros: Fast. Rubberized for shock damage protection.
Cons: Size. It's kind of large, in all 3 dimensions. Not enough to be a problem, but if you've got an application that requires a tight fit, this is not the drive for you.
Other Thoughts: If you've had a voyager in the USB2 days as I did, this one's about 40% larger in volume. Be prepared for that.

Pros: None
Cons: I backup thousands of images with this drive. A couple months into ownership the drive is unreadable and Windows attempts to repair it to no avail. So I reformat the drive, thinking it was just a fluke or a USB3 driver issue. I did an experiment where I would attempt to read the drive every few months and reformatting and backing up each time. In the course of two years, each time I read the drive the data are corrupted. Images stored in the drive are corrupted or unreadable. I've only done maybe 5 write sessions with it and the drive always failed to retain the data after a couple of months idle.
Other Thoughts: With this experience my faith with flash drives continues to falter. I just can't rely on them for archival purposes.

Pros: I haven't done benchmarks on this baby, but it "feels" fast. It looks good. Moves data fast even on a USB 2 machine.
Cons: There aren't any. bad points to this drive. Corsair has it figured out.
Other Thoughts: I wouldn't complain about losing the rubber cap. If you are worried about losing the rubber cap, you probably aren't organized well enough to be around computers. Find something else to do.

This review is from: Corsair Flash Voyager GT USB 3.0 32 GB, Read 240 MBs - Write 100 MBs, Plug and Play (CMFVYGT3B-32GB)
Pros: The speed is no question its strong point. You can balk at paying the higher price all you want but if you want speed, this is the one to have. For all I have spent on cheaper slower performing drives, I could own several of these Voyagers GTs by now. I happen to like my warranty also.
Cons: Are you kidding? I know what size it is. If you look at it, you can see it is larger than most drives out there. So now I should sit here and complain about the size. In a perfect world, it would be smaller but then I might have to give up the rubber casing. I've dropped mine on concrete and it bounced back up to me. Kidding here!. It did bounce a little but all is well that ends well. For these people who complain about the speed, I say baloney. In a 3.0 slot running an I7 processor, I get everything it said I would.
Other Thoughts: If there is a faster USB drive out there that competes with this drive in size and claimed speed, please let us all know about it. I can't stand it when a darn good product is bashed by some hairless nitwit. If I had an outlet, I'd sell them as the best USB drive I sell. I'm considering buying another one so I can throw my other slower drives in the trash can where they belonged to start with.

This review is from: Corsair Flash Voyager GT USB 3.0 32 GB, Read 240 MBs - Write 100 MBs, Plug and Play (CMFVYGT3B-32GB)
Pros: Bounces when dropped. I have formatted and installed linux live and utilities many times and booted without fail.
Cons: Read speed is almost where it is claimed to be. But write is a total fail. No cap retainer, no lanyard. What is with the size?
Other Thoughts: Read speed is at 200mb/s and write is below 10mb/s. I have two other drives by this company, one is a CMFVY3A-32GB which is suppose to a little slower. But the drive being reviewed has the same read speed and almost no write speed. The physical size of this drive is some what larger than the CMFVY3A-32GB which can be a problem when plugging in multiple drives. About 3/4" longer and 1/2" wider. Maybe this is for the people that don't like small usb drives. Why? This is a good question considering there is no good reason for the larger size.

Pros: - Speeds are as advertised (90-110 write for me) - Awesome rubber casing - Great write speeds even for USB3
Cons: - A bit big. If you have 2 ports on your laptop right next to each other, you may not be able to access the adjacent port with this plugged in.
Other Thoughts: It is as advertised. I love it. I've had good luck with these Corsair Voyagers for many years. This particular version has only solidified these being my flash drive of choice. Fast and reliable. Worth paying a few dollars more for a reliable brand.

Pros: Have tried other flash drives and the Corsair Voyager GT 32GB is by far the best. I use two for external drive backup and one for both Main Computer and Laptop computer backup.
Have never had a problem and these are really simple to use
Cons: Haven't found any yet
