5 out of 5 eggsName Says it All

Pros: Like the name says. I bought 2. My wife and I are using them with our search and rescue gear. It will hold all of our vital information in case of an illness or accident while out on a call.

Great Price.. Good Speed

Cons: A bit small for my big hands.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: These things are really tiny and work great. A lot of reviews with this product and the other GB sizes state they stop working and I suspect some of that might be user error. With normal sized USB connections, they can only be inserted one way, if you try to insert it upside down it won't let you. This is not the case with this drive, insert it the wrong way and it goes in but doesn't register on the computer. Just a heads up...Verbatim side needs to be facing down.

Cons: None, works great.

5 out of 5 eggsCompact and Efficient

Pros: These are virtually indestructible. Just enough plastic sticks out of the usb slot that you can comfortably insert and remove the flash drive, but there is no extraneous housing that creates a weak point in other drive shapes.

Rough size is the width of a microSD card by 2 times the length of a microSD card. So, yes, really 'Tiny'.

Cons: None noted.

Other Thoughts: These little usb flash drives are perfect for just about every use. I didn't do speed tests as I don't particularly care about that level of detail, but I'm sure someone else will. These perform just as well as, or better than, other flash drives of various sizes and shapes by Verbatim and other manufacturers.

5 out of 5 eggsTakes a So Cal Cooking

Pros: I bought it because I was looking for a ruggedized USB drive. I live in southern California where it can get very hot inside a car during the summer, I have a car stereo that will play MP3s, etc., from of a USB drive. I had some "regular" USB drives and they started losing data after not too long. I have had this one since May, so it cooked the whole summer, and it still plays fine.

Cons: none (unless you consider it being so small you might lose it as a con)

Other Thoughts: I was surprise by just how small it is. But, I'm on the newegg site now to get a 8 GB one for my messenger bag I drag to work with me every day

5 out of 5 eggsSmall, works

Pros: It's very small, and it works. I keep it on my keychain in my pocket, and it hasn't failed so far in the month I've had it.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I haven't tested the speed, nor have I noticed that it is particularly fast or slow. Speed is not a major concern for me.

2 out of 5 eggsTiny but not so tuff

Pros: Nice and small, perfect to put anywhere and the little lanyard type cord attached to it makes it easy to keep track of considering the really small size. Transfer speed is decent.

Cons: Lived in my wallet in a zippered mini pocket as a bootable puppy linux OS and was formatted to ext2 (a non-journaling filesystem to minimize writes). Unfortunately it died completely after about 6 months and probably only about a dozen uses. The drive hardware indentifier label completely changed, and the drive cannot be formatted or imaged with any partitions/volumes. Now it is an annoying little orange projectile good for tossing at unsuspecting passerby.

Other Thoughts: Also got a RiData mini drive that chills in my wallet as my IT swiss army knife. This one has survived without any serious issues, so as of now I'm replacing this drive with another of those.

Pros: It is small and super durable, and fairly inexpensive. What more could you want/need.

Cons: Open face design concerns me, but no problems so far.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for car stereo use

Pros: Small, sturdy

Cons: No activity light

Other Thoughts: This tiny drive incorporates everything into a single sealed piece - eliminating the metal plug. It works well for me, and I actually prefer not having the clunky USB plug to deal with.

5 out of 5 eggscorrection: great drive

Pros: this is a correction to my first post. this is an excellent drive. not a big sacrifice on speed. very small... fits on my keys, so i never lose it.

this drive is bootable and works with a number of bootable options (i wish specifications would list this capability... )

previously, i reviews this drive and said it didn't work on Dell hardware... well, it does. Dell likes to flip their USB drives, and i immediately thought of this after posting my first review.

Cons: the lanyard kind of makes me nervous that it might break, but it hasn't after a month.

Other Thoughts: like i said, you definitely have to make sure it's facing the right way up, since it's built to fit both ways.
