2 out of 5 eggsDidn't last six months

Pros: small, good storage size for the price, I like the tough little lanyard that came with it. Attached easily to my key chain.

Cons: Died in less than six months.

Other Thoughts: I liked it and it worked well at first but less than 6 months after I received it, it is stone dead. No PC even detects it when I plug it in. Stone dead.

1 out of 5 eggsWILL DIE ABOUT EVERY 3 MONTHS!!

Pros: Small Size large capacity (see Cons)

Cons: (I own the 32GB but its no longer available so writing review for 16GB) I loved this drive when I first bought it because of its small size and large capacity, however you should listen to the negative reviews. It might be tiny, but it isn't "Tough" by any stretch of the imagination!! I have had three of these drives in less than a year. Just out of the blue it will stop working. Either your computer will not recognize it or it will tell you that you have to format it in order to create the private partition, even though this has been done and your data IS ON the private partition!! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DATA IF IT IS NOT BACKED UP!! This has been a problem for me since I transfer files from my work computer to my home computer using the drive, but when it just decides to go DOA on the trip home, I'm messed up because I now have lost the data I needed in order to work from home. I am a hardware Tech, so I know all the troubleshooting steps and reasons why a USB drive will not be recognized, etc etc.....Trust me, this is a piece of garbage drive that WILL fail on you eventually. Granted Verbatim replaces the drive each time it dies, (the only reason I have had three of them) but what good is that if you have to cross your fingers each time you plug it in. Heed my advice, steer clear of this headache and buy a different brand. If you need security on your USB I suggested purchasing a reliable USB drive and downloading TruCrypt for free (you will need to have a bit of Technical knowledge for this however). Personally I have given up on this drive, I will not ask for another replacement and I have gone to a reliable brand & I am using TruCrypt and couldn't be happier!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little drive

Pros: This drive is really great. The performance is more than adequate, definitely faster than many USB memory sticks I have used. It is incredibly tiny! Wonderful for applications where clearance / protrusion is a consideration. My car stereo has a usb port for my head unit to access other devices. This low-profile drive is barely noticeable when inserted there, as it doesn't stick out much or light up. It also matches the black leather and plastic trim. The capacity is great, I have 100+ MP3 albums for listening on the go, and plenty of room left to add more.

Cons: I only have two of them!

Other Thoughts: Higher capacity models will be nice as the technology makes them affordable. This is a fantastic buy for the money, if you're looking for a compact and reliable USB drive.

I suspect this would be great for people who want to make use of features such as MS Windows ReadyBoost, since it would be flush with the back of the case when used in many rear USB ports, and would not be easy to dislodge accidentally.

5 out of 5 eggsTuff 'n' Tiny

Pros: The main reason I bought the Verbatim Tuff 'n' Tiny flash drive was because of its physical size. I hate having things in my pockets, & this little thing is as small as they come.

I've had it for more than a year and a half, always on my keyring, and I've never had any problems with wear or damage or with reliability.

It's cheap.

Cons: None for me, really, but it does get a bit warm, and it's not especially fast.

Other Thoughts: If you're not careful, you could easily lose it, because it's fantastically small and light.

Also, it's easy to put it in upside-down. The gold contacts should face upward.

Pros: Good little USB drive, it's incredibly small, more than you could think! Speed is average, price is right.

Cons: So small, it's easy to lose!... But really, none except that.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Reliable

Pros: Small

Cons: 1st one only showed a free space of 6.2gb. Could not not format or partition to get more space. Verbatim tech said it was defective.

2nd drive I received from them disconnects at random. Completely worthless. Cannot write data to it from any computer reliably.

Other Thoughts: don't buy.

1 out of 5 eggsDrive not detected

Pros: This drive is incredibly small, and when functional, it's pretty speedy

Cons: I've had this drive for 32 days -- and it's already gone bad!! It isn't detected on any computers, i've tried 5 computers (both mac and pc).
