Pros: The price is reasonable for anyone looking to upgrade their system.

Cons: I order three of this memories and each caused by computer to either to fail to boot up, or crash with a blue screen of death every time windows 7 desktop started up. I tried using just one memory at a time to see if it was just one or two causing the problem, but confirmed instead that all three as having a problem. I then tried them on my other computer, which is an Xp machine, and the problem showed up there as well. They were both different types of motherboards, so I concluded that it could not be a compatibility issue with the boards. I gave the memories one final test to prove that all three were defective merchandise, I ran the Windows 7 boot-up memory tester on each one and all three came back as having a defeat and advised by the tester to contact the manufacture for further assistance. I should have heeded the warnings of others, but sadly, I did not think I would be having this problem, clearly, I was wrong!

Other Thoughts: One bad memory I can understand, but three, each independently packaged, and not even coming close to having serial numbers that closely match, come on. It makes me question as to what kind of quality control system PNY is running, if there is one. It also makes me think and wonder if perhaps PNY is trying to dump bad stuff on the public with hopes that the majority of the customers will not bother to return the items. I don't really believe this to be the case, but for my part, they have lost me as a customer. Now comes the hard part, trying to get a refund or replacement and hope that the replacement, which I am sure they will offer me instead of a refund, are defeat free.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Plug and Play friendly, I bought this same one several months before to try it out, now with 2GB of memory the system runs smooth as it ever will. Not bad for an early 90's MOBO.

Cons: None, performs perfectly.

Other Thoughts: While the memory works well, it is a bit dated.
