5 out of 5 eggsD*mn near indestructible

Pros: Small, solid, and well built. I have 4 units, and my main "daily" user (and I mean that literally) has taken 9 trips through the washer and 4 through the dryer and keeps ticking. Even when I thought all was lost (after trip #2 through the dryer), the epoxy seal between the mounting flange and pin casing recessed back, and after trying to pry the pin casing up with channel locks to no avail, I hit it with a heat gun at 600F to reheat the epoxy and *BOOM* it came right out to original position.

Cons: It's a budget level stick that's solidly built, formats, reads, and writes very well through USB 3.0. Any cons outside of premature failure / failing to format are for naught, get a higher end stick.

Other Thoughts: NOTE: The newest unit I purchased this month features a different casing finish and slightly shorter dimensions, so let's hope they did NOT cut corners with the revision.

1 out of 5 eggsvery disapointed

Pros: not much

Cons: After recieving , opened box and tried to download mp3's from my computer to usb drive, download stopped during transfer and now it said there is a write protection on downloaded music which i cannot remove from any computer. I sent Centon an email 1 week ago with no responce

Other Thoughts: I will stick with HP or PNY usb drives from now on!!!

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the Money

Pros: Very fast transfer speeds, not a huge price, and works great. Works perfectly with Mac and PC. Sturdy design.

Cons: ITS PURPLE, keep in mind this USB is actually purple. I fixed the problem by using a permanent marker and made it black. Not perfect but beats the hassle of returning it and getting a different one.

5 out of 5 eggsMust Format!!

Pros: I have one of these I bought at a local retailer. Did not even know who made it when bought but it was cheap. Vista Ultimate AMD64 SP1. Original format was FAT32 and write speed did not exceed 4MB/s. Formatted NTFS and writes increased to 50MB/s with bursts up to 60MB/s. Not Mb..MB. Could not believe the difference!

Cons: None unless formatting a drive is a hassle for you.

Other Thoughts: Ended up with Unix file system on it anyway!! Drive is currently booting from and running mt IPCOP machine. AHH the silence!!
